Acts 12:2 records the death of James, son of Zebedee and brother of John, was put to the sword by Herod Agrippa I. This was about 44 A.D.
2. Which apostle, generally accepted as the author of The Book of Revelation, is believed to have been the only one to die a natural death?

Answer: John

Although he was not martyred, he was exiled to the prison Island of Patmos under the Emperor Domitian. It was there that he wrote the last book in the Bible, Revelation. He was later freed and returned to what is now modern day Turkey.
