This quote from Peter can be found in Acts 2:38. He made this quote on the Day of Pentecost in which he and the other apostles were filled with the Holy Ghost. Peter spoke to a large crowd, along with the other disciples, in their native tongue, leading several to ask for forgiveness of their sins, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and then receive the gift of the Holy Ghost themselves.

In Matthew 14:22-33, Jesus calls out to Peter who was in a boat with other disciples. He told Peter to come to him and not be afraid. Peter got out of the boat and walked on water but then became afraid.

He called out to Jesus to save him from drowning and he was saved.

This quote was given during Jesus's Sermon on the Mount. It can be found in Matthew 5:44. Jesus is telling the people that gathered to listen to him to love everyone and pray for those who do you harm.

This is part of Paul's letter to Timothy and is found in 2 Timothy 3:2. It follows 2 Timothy 3:1 which says, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come". Paul was telling Timothy how people will become in the days before Christ's second coming.

David was praising God for hearing his prayer and giving him strength and guiding him through times of trouble when being pursued by King Saul and his followers. Saul became jealous of David's popularity and wanted him to die. David's prayers were answered. God protected him and he became King of Israel after Saul passed away.

Jethro was the father-in-law to Moses. In Exodus 18:21, Jethro explained to him that God wanted him to chose men who followed God to become judges in Israel and, if they listened to God's advice, they would be able to judge correctly.

In John 1:41, Andrew told Simon Peter "We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ". The "Lamb of God" is in reference to Jesus being innocent like a lamb being led to slaughter. Jesus was crucified for our sins and is alive in Heaven so we can be saved if we believe.
