Ontario's Glenn Howard and his team of Richard Hart(third), Brent Laing(second), and Craig Savil(lead) went 10-1 in the round robin. They won the final over Brad Gushue's Newfoundland team 10-6.
2. The 2007 champion winning skip had won two previous Briers. In which years did he win them?

Answer: 1987 and 1993

Glenn Howard played third on brother Russ's team when they won the '87 and '93 Briers. Russ and Glenn would go on to win the Worlds both times.

Brad Gushue and his Newfoundland team had never won the Brier before. The team did win the 2006 Winter Olympics (minus second Chris Schille who joined the team in 2007).
