Answer: Tommy Brown

Tommy Brown started his career with the Dodgers as a 16 year old high school student in 1944. He played shortstop and banged a clout off Preacher Roe of the Pirates on August 20th, 1945.
2. Which of the following pitchers was the youngest to pitch in a Major League game at age 15 years, 11 months, and two weeks?

Answer: Joe Nuxhall

Nuxhall pitched 2 and a third innings on June 10th, 1944, for the Reds. The Reds lost that game 18-0 to the Cardinals.
3. Who was the first teenage pitcher to win 20 games in a season before the age of 20?

Answer: nobody has done it

Nobody accomplished this feat during the 20th Century.
4. What teenager (less than 20 years old) held the record for highest batting average in a season of .322, as of January 2001?

Answer: Mel Ott

Ott batted .322 in 1928 with New York.

Cobb stole 23 with Detroit in 1906. 22 were probably with his spikes pointing up.
