Esa Tikkanen served three stints on Broadway, most notably as a member of the 1993-94 Stanley Cup Champion team. He is best remembered for his ability to get under his opponents skin, making him a fan favorite. He was first acquired by the Rangers on March 17th, 1993, from Edmonton in a trade-deadline deal for Doug Weight. The Rangers missed the playoffs that season, but he was a crucial part to the 1993-1994 Stanley Cup winning team.

In the summer of 1995, Tikkanen was traded to the Blues along with Doug Lidster for Petr Nedved only to return to the team in 1997 in a trade with Vancouver. During the 1997 playoffs, Tikkanen had three game-winning goals, including two in overtime against Florida. He left the team briefly for free agency, but soon returned in the fall of 1998. Dave Maloney made his NHL debut on December 18th, 1974. At the time, Maloney was the youngest player ever to play for the Rangers, 18 years and four months old. In December of 1984, his long run with the team ended when he was traded to the Buffalo Sabres. He retired after that season.

Tony Almonte was selected in the 4th round, 68th overall in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut on April 11, 1991 in a playoff game vs. the Washington Capitals. In his rookie season of 1991-92 he scored 35 goals and added 34 assists en route to being elected to the NHL All-Rookie team.

He was involved in the trade that brought playoff hero Stephane Matteau to the team in 1994. He went on to score over 400 goals in his career.

J.T. Miller was born in East Palestine, Ohio. He was drafted by the Rangers in the first round of the 2011 NHL Draft out of the USA Hockey National Team Development Program of the USHL (United States Hockey League). Miller was also selected to represent the United States at the 2013 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.

He led the team with seven assists and tied for the team lead with nine points. Team USA won the gold medal. In his first game at Madison Square Garden he scored two goals on Evgeni Nabokov of the New York Islanders.

Sandstrom was drafted by the Rangers in the second round, 36th overall, in the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. In his rookie season he was named to the NHL's All-Rookie team, becoming the first Rangers player to accomplish that. In the 1986-87 season, he recorded his first 40-goal season and broke the Rangers record with four hat-tricks. Midway through the 1989-90 season, Sandstrom was traded with Tony Granato to Los Angeles for Bernie Nicholls. Sandstrom would go on to play for four more teams before retiring from the NHL in 1999.
