2. In a flashback, who was caught stealing?

Answer: Mr. Eko

In a flashback, at the very beginning of the episode, Mr. Eko and his brother, Yemi, broke into a church shed to get some food to eat and they were caught by a nun of the church. The sister brought both Mr. Eko and Yemi, into the church, and asked them why they stole. Mr. Eko said that he and his brother were hungry but she informed him that was no reason for him to steal.

She asked them both confess to sinning, by stealing, and they admitted they had sinned.
3. In another flashback, Mr. Eko was seen in what African nation?

Answer: Nigeria

We saw more flashbacks of Mr. Eko, throughout the episode, and he was located in Nigeria in some of them. In the flashback, he was driven back to a village, by soldiers, right after the plane crashed on to the island. 4. Mr. Eko's brother was revealed to have been a minister.

Answer: True

While Mr. Eko was at the confession box, a young woman and her son walked into the church and she told him she was looking for Father Yemi so this reference meant that Yemi was a minister. The woman told Mr. Eko she worked at a clinic and her son was Father Yemi's altar boy. Mr. Eko informed her that Father Yemi was called away and he would take his place.
5. Who left, with Charlie, after checking up on Mr. Eko?

Answer: Hugo "Hurley" Reyes

Mr. Eko was in a trance and, while he was, Charlie and Hurley were watching him. Eventually, both Charlie and Hurley got up to leave and, when they did, Mr. Eko snapped out of his trance. Yemi appeared, to Eko in a vision after he got out of his trance, and he held a lighter, to Eko, and told him to confess to his sins. Mr. Eko did confess to his sins.
6. Who, aside from Sayid, rushed to save Mr. Eko from the burning hut?

Answer: Charlie Pace

Since Mr. Eko had a lighter on him (for more, see Interesting Info section for question five), he used it and accidentally set the hut on fire, just as Charlie and Hurley were walking away. After the fire is put out, Charlie, Sayid, and Hurley notice that Mr. Eko is gone.
7. John Locke and who else discuss saving Jack, Kate, and Sawyer from The Others?

Answer: Desmond Hume

We saw scenes, at the camp, and John Locke and Desmund Hume were there and you could hear them formulating a strategy to save Jack, Kate, and Sawyer from The Others since those three were being held captive by them. During the conversation, Desmond said the hatch was not only used to press a button but it could also be used for communication.

He told John they should use it to communicate with The Others.
8. Locke suggested that they go to a station with what name?

Answer: The Pearl

When Desmond suggested they use the hatch, to communicate with The Others, Sayid brought up that the hatch was no longer good since it imploded. Locke jumped in and said they could make communication, with The Others, by going to another station that was called The Pearl. John and Mr. Eko discovered the station in a previous episode and all of them agreed to go there to see if they could communicate with The Others there.
9. Who claimed that Mr. Eko was mumbling about his brother after he disappeared?

Answer: Charlie Pace

Sayid mentioned that Mr. Eko had disappeared, after the hut burned down, so Locke asked Sayid if Mr. Eko said anything before he took off. Sayid did not answer but Charlie claimed that he heard Mr. Eko mumbling something about his brother. Locke realized that Mr. Eko was going back, to the wreckage, to see his brother's dead body.
10. Mr. Eko fainted, in this episode.

Answer: True

Mr. Eko was walking through the jungle and he struggled and he fainted. He managed to get himself back up and, when he did, the smoke monster ran right by him. He turned around and noticed that many men, all bloodied up, were staring at him and they begged him to not kill them. Mr. Eko went to hit one of the men and, when he did, he got a flashback of an altar boy and he stopped himself from attacking the man.
