Answer: 7

Cliff was proud of his job and never let people forget how proud he was. He wore his uniform almost all the time at Cheers.

2. Why couldn't Sam try Woody's drink?

Answer: He's an alcoholic.

Woody didn't know that Sam was an alcoholic. Sam explains to him that that was how he ended his baseball career. Woody then said he didn't know Sam played baseball.

Answer: The Cafe

Sam said that after work he was driving home in "the car". Frasier explained to him that The Cafe was the name of the restaurant.

Sam wanted to prove he could eat at the restaurant just like Diane. He said his name still meant something in Boston but still could only get in for February.

5. Who was Dr. Weinstein?

Answer: heart transplant doctor

Dr. Weinstein was one of the few doctors that did heart transplants making him very well respected in the community. As a result he could eat at The Cafe anytime he wanted to.

Sam wanted to prove so much to Diane that he could eat in The Cafe that he lied about is identity. Diane at first didn't realize he had lied and was baffled as to how he got in the restaurant before she and her date did.

Sam of course not being a doctor had no idea how to treat chest pains. So he gave her advice for a woman having contractions. This had some of the other patrons quite confused as to how such a well respected doctor didn't know about chest pains.

Diane refused to leave until she got served. Her date however got really hungry and left to go find food.

9. What happened when Woody finally made a new drink?

Answer: He didn't know how he made it.

Woody had been trying several different concoctions all of which resulted in drinks that had already been made. He finally found one that was a new drink, but he had mixed so many drinks he forgot how he made that particular one.

10. Did Diane ever get to eat?

Answer: yes

Sam asked them to serve Diane and so they did. Sam and Diane eat together and Diane comments on how it's good they're each paying for their own food. Sam then runs into a problem, all his credit cards and checks say Sam Malone on it and the restaurant thinks he is Dr. Weinstein. Unable to pay, he runs out of the restaurant.
