While Syd and Vaughn are on their date, the restaurant owner gives them a key to a room upstairs. Vaughn tries to convince Sydney that they should take it. Syd actually agreed but unfortunately, their date was interrupted.

It was around Christmas and Vaughn decided to give Syd a present. Later that night, when Syd opens it, she finds that he has given her a picture frame.

Sydney and Vaughn are in a blood drive van. When Vaughn was telling Syd that she was to write down details of her mission on a paper bag, that was what she said in response.

While deactivating C-4s, Sydney asks Vaughn out to a hockey game the second time before both run off in opposite direction. However, at that time they were not allowed to be seen in public because of protocol.

While Vaughn is in the shower, Sydney takes that time to look at his desktop to see if he has the program Xenon. The CIA is investigatin him because they have records that he's been in contact with ex-KGBs.

While being in a room waiting for their test results, Vaughn told her that she said,"Don't frost the pie," while sleeping. Makes you wonder what she really was dreaming about, doesn't it?

Sydney thought that his backpack was getting a little ridiculous. So she decides to give him the middle drawer. He then starts to smile goofily.

That night when Sydney was to have dinner with Emily, Vaughn told her she looked really pretty. Later that night when Vaughn called pretending to be Francie, Syd called him sweetie.

Vaughn knows that he is being investigated and as he and Syd walk down the CIA hall, he tells her that it's been fun. As a response, Syd tells him to shut up because she knows that she'll see him again soon.

After Vaughn have looked everywhere for Syd, he finally finds her at the train station. He also tells her that if she is doing what he thinks she is, then he is in.

Later on the episode, Vaughn does book a hotel and tells her that they'll be there three nights starting that night. Unfortunately, Syd and evil Francie got into a bloody fight that night.
