Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. When Jules touches the sphere in the bedroom, who of these materializes?

Answer: Her sister

Jules sits thinking to herself, recalling the dream she had of the sphere in the bedroom upstairs. When she placed her hand on it, she felt something moving inside. She didn't realize, as she thought of her sister in that moment, that she'd unknowingly leant her memories to what she had found. As she collapsed to the floor, her sister materialized from a puddle of blood on the floor, and the sphere reached out towards it.
Seth wakes up after the sun rises and asks if Jules is okay. She's fine though; she just wants to go get Margot since she's the closest thing she has to a sister.
Alpha-JD watches as his real version burns in a fire pit behind his house and he smiles.
2. Margot finds her father in front of a mirror practicing saying which of these phrases over and over?

Answer: "Good morning, Margot."

Margot wakes up in her bedroom and looks out the window to see cyclists riding by. When she opens her closet she's surprised to find an ornate room unlike anything she's seen. She leaves it behind and heads down the hall instead to find her father in the mirror practicing saying 'Good morning, Margot' over and over.
Margot heads downstairs to breakfast and can't put her finger on what's missing. Her father says it's just the two of them though, and she shouldn't worry.
Elsewhere, the drifter has Lacey tied up to a chair in what can't possibly be their house. He shows her pictures of their life together and sees that she has her own pictures up of her with another man.
Seth spies JD walking down the street and heads out to meet him, bringing him in to reunite with Jules.
3. Where does Margot see her mother's face?

Answer: In the trash

Margot asks her father why he left and reiterates that he died and she found him in their living room, horrifyingly bloated from his prescription pill allergy. It wasn't so much why he did it, she clarifies, but how it felt. She became obsessed, and just wanted to know how it felt so she could be close to him again.

He admits how it felt to her-- it was quick, he claims-- and insists that he will be there for her. As Margot gets up to toss out the remains of her breakfast, she opens the trash to find her mother's hollowed out face staring up at her from the garbage.

The memory of her mother is hazy, but everything is clearly amiss. She tries to leave, but her father stops her.
4. When Margot tries to escape her bedroom, she finds that her windows are boarded up.

Answer: False

Margot rushes to her bedroom instead of leaving out the front door and asks for a minute to herself, locking herself in. That's when she finds her windows are locked...and unbreakable. She tries to smash furniture against the window to no avail as her father waits on the other side of the door.
Jules, Seth, and JD try to figure out how they get out and Seth spies JD picking at a scab on his arm. They all agree that they need to get Margot before they go.
5. Margot runs into her bedroom closet, finding it linked to which of these?

Answer: Her swimming pool

Margot's father admits the truth, chiefly that he knows she saw the face in the trash. He tells her that he had to eat it for sustenance, and somewhere down the line he's going to need her to feed him again, otherwise he doesn't know what will happen. Margot asks for more time to think, but her father gets increasingly more irate, banging on the locked door and yelling until he punches through it. Margot goes through her closet instead, running down the odd hallway and emerging underwater, swimming straight through until she surfaces in her swimming pool.

Her father watches from the bedroom window as she runs away.
6. To escape her father, Margot hides in which of these buildings?

Answer: School

Margot runs through the suburban streets looking for a safe place until she comes across a man watering his lawn. She runs by, not noticing Jules, Seth, and JD following behind her. They have to stop when Margot's father also comes through, killing the man Margot stopped to talk to by jamming a garden hose into his neck. Margot continues to run until she reaches a school of dark, empty corridors.

A woman grabs her as she turns a corner and grips her arm, shushing her as her father pursues her.

She's able to get away and head into another hallways upstairs, but she finds it to be filled with Russian music and Cyrillic posters. Fortunately, Jules is able to find her and they hide in a classroom together.
7. Margot compares her missing memories of her mother to which of these?

Answer: A missing tooth

As Margot's father nears, the Russian music in the school cuts out and he begins searching the classrooms, eventually being distracted when Seth and JD bang on lockers outside. This is, fortunately, enough to allow them all to escape without being found.
They hide out in another house, and Margot tells Jules the concerning thing in her mind-- she knows she has a mother, but there's a hole in her mind where her mother should be. It's as though her father took the memory and ate it.
While Jules sleeps, Margot spies something outside the window a couple of streets over and asks Seth to check it out with her. Something dark is in the distance.
8. What does Seth claim to have seen in room 5?

Answer: Families

Elsewhere, the drifter waits as Lacey's alternate husband gets home from work. The man finds her tied up in the dining room and, when he finds the drifter in his kitchen with a gun, quickly and almost supernaturally knocks him down, disarming him before moving around the kitchen island. Thinking fast, the drifter grabs a knife from a block and stabs his adversary, telling Lacey that he wasn't real.
Walking through the streets, Margot asks Seth what he saw in room 5, and he says it was families; they were all families that he grew up with in foster homes. She asks what they were like and he says he didn't want to remember them; they can decide to forget things.
As they walk down the street, an obscure darkness marks the edge of the suburbs; they realize that this unfinished perimeter of the neighbourhood must be the edge of their new world.
As Jules wakes up alone, she sees JD watching from the hallway and he heads in to greet her. He says that the place makes him sick and he really needs to get out, so they should look for an exit together. When he reveals that the other two went out alone, Jules insists that they go looking.
9. From where do Margot and Seth find the location of the No-End House in their new world?

Answer: An old watertower

Margot and Seth end up at an old water tower overlooking the suburbs and, from there, they see how small the neighbourhood actually is. Weirdly, Seth says it's almost enjoyable to see. On one side, in the distance, Margot sees the No-End House. She also sees her father though as he patrols the streets...and he's close to running into Jules.
Sure enough, just as Margot and Seth reach her, Margot's father rounds the corner and starts his pursuit.
After the three set a trap, Margot's father catches up and tries to speak to her. He admits that he regrets killing himself; as soon as he took the pills it was too late and he was afraid of the pain. She realizes then that he's pretty much pulling the words out of her head; he's only made up of what she hoped was true, and he's probably not even real. As he steps forward, he falls into the hole in the floor, wherever it may lead.
10. Seth finds JD standing over the sink. What excuse does JD give to explain his odd behaviour?

Answer: He must be allergic to something

The three return to find JD still at their hiding place and, as it turns out, they have guests-- the drifter and Lacey made it. He says that they're glad to have found them and that they're all still alive since the house has a way of splitting people up and cannibalizing their memories. While Margot saw her dad, the others don't bring up their issues. It's what happened to Lacey too; she'd been there long enough for it to take over. They all agree to wait until morning before heading out to find the house.
While Jules struggles to sleep in the other room, Margot stays up with Seth, talking before they share the night. Jules instead heads to the garage to find the sphere waiting for her. She reaches out to touch it and it immediately reciprocates, this time creating several manifestations from her memories.
The next morning, Seth finds JD down at the sink, peeling at the skin on his arm. He asks the fake JD if he's falling apart already, and JD says he must be allergic to something. Seth simply smiles at him and heads back to bed.
