"Charmed" Second Season: Part Two Quiz

Piper gets bitten by a bug hidden in a tropical fruit she imported illegally from South America. When she falls into a coma, Prue and Phoebe cast an awakening spell to save her. But it awakes also a ninja puppet, which infects other people in the hospital with the disease. That's why Piper asks her sisters to reverse the spell.

When they do it, she almost dies; is saved in extremis by Leo. Also in this episode Prue quits her job at the auction house, and Phoebe enrolls in college.

It is St. Valentine's Day. Three lonely college students, with Phoebe's help, cast a love spell, which turns three animals into men for 24 hours. The newly made-men terrorize the campus, try to kill the girls, who made them, and seek out Phoebe so that she help them remain humans permanently.

They invite themselves into Piper's club and Phoebe casts a spell, which accidentally turns everybody into an animal. When the spell is undone, the three troublemakers get arrested by the police and everything ends well.

Answer: necklace

Phoebe receives warnings from her past life that her life is in danger. It turns out that in 1924 she was an evil witch, who, in league with a warlock named Anton, plotted to destroy her cousins (former reincarnations of Prue and Piper). But she lost an amulet that Anton gave her, and the good witches vanquished her. Phoebe switches souls with the evil former self in order to recover the amulet, which is her only chance for survival.

But the amulet is again in possession of the immortal Anton, who finds Phoebe, now with the soul of the evil witch inhabiting her body.

A fight breaks out; Prue and Piper vanquish Anton, and knock out the bad Phoebe. The good Phoebe goes back to her body and her sisters put the amulet on her neck.

Answer: to take a picture of Maggie Murphy

Maggie Murphy was interviewed by the magazine "415" in which Prue applied for a job. Prue drove to Maggie's house to take a picture of her, and saw her jumping off a roof, but managed to rescue her from a hard fall. Maggie had tried to take her own life, driven to it by a darkligher, who afterwards turned his attention to Prue and tried to get her to kill herself, too. But she resisted the urge thanks to her sisters' support.

Answer: Cryto

Aunt Gail and her friends summon Cryto, the demon of vanity, to get their youth back. The demon agrees to grant it to them on one condition: he wants the powers of the Charmed Ones. Aunt Gail visits the sisters in the Manor and steals a spell from the Book of Shadow in order to stripe them off their powers.

But they manage to get them back thanks to a reverse spell, and vanquish the demon. Also in this episode Piper breaks up with Dan, because she realises Leo is her true love.

Answer: a movie

His mission is to spread violence in the world. He notices Phoebe in a movie theatre and goes after her. The sisters manage to get rid of him, but only temporarily. He takes murderous characters from the movies into the real world with him and sends them after the Halliwells. Phoebe, who falls in love with one of the good characters, figures out that they have to be killed in the same way they die in the movies. In the end they manage also to vanquish the demon by burning the part of the movie he is in.

Answer: from the books

It is among the books in a college library that lives a demon called Libris. He kills Charlene, Phoebe's fellow student. Phoebe finds a spell in the Book of Shadow to vanquish him. The ghost of Charlene also helps to make the murderer of a little girl confess his crime. It is only then that it finds its peace.

Answer: by getting injected with their blood

Dr. Williamson is the one who treated Piper for Oroya fever in one of the previous episodes. He tries to contact Piper, but she doesn't respond to his letters. Attempting to discover antibodies in Piper's blood, which helped her fight the disease, he injects the monkeys with her and her sisters' blood. Accidentally, one of the monkeys, which shares the Halliwells' powers, throws a syringe with their blood into his neck. Equipped thus with the Charmed Ones' powers, he starts killing criminals in order to take out their internal organs.

The sisters have to vanquish him, making feel Piper guilty about it all.

Answer: 7 p.m.

In this episode the sisters meet the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, whose aim is to bring about the end of the world. They cannot be vanquished; only the Source can destroy them for not fulfilling their mission. When Prue, Piper and Phoebe meet one of them for the first time, they think it is the Demon of the Anarchy.

But the spell and the potion from the Book of Shadows, which was supposed to vanquish them, don't work; moreover they lose Prue, who gets trapped, with one of the Horseman, in a vortex. Only when Phoebe and Piper are willing to sacrifice Prue in order to save the world, do the Horsemen get vanquished by the Source, who reckons there is still too much good in the world for it to be destroyed.

The vortex reopens and Prue is back.

Answer: the power of flying

The genie is sent by the Council and the Dragon warlock to destroy the Charmed Ones by granting them their wishes. But all the little trickster thinks of is how to get his freedom. He tricks the sisters to express their wishes, but there are dire consequences: Prue becomes a reckless 17-year-old, Piper wishes for Dan to move on with his life, which makes him age prematurely, and Phoebe wants an active power, the power of flying, which the genie steals from the Dragon.

When Prue gets killed by the evil warlock, the genie volunteers to get back to his bottle in order to reverse all wishes and save Prue.

But it doesn't work; Prue gets resurrected only when they wish for her to be alive again. Another wish allows Dan to truly move on with his life, and the genie gets his freedom.
