Question 7 of 10
7. During Dark Willow and the Slayer's epic showdown, the verbal banter that typifies most of the series' fight scenes also permeates this particular confrontation. Buffy states "I don't want to hurt you!", before being punched into a rack of candles by Willow, who retorts with "Not a problem". Of course Buffy is quick to recover by hitting her former friend so hard that she destroys a glass display case. At this point, Buffy also adds another quick one-liner. What is it? [Hint: The words "paraphrased anagram" may come in handy]. Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. In the final moments of this episode, with both Buffy and Anya lying hurt on the ground before her, Dark Willow proudly surveys the carnage she has created. Now calm, she says she finally understands that "the Slayer thing" is about power, not violence. Arrogant in her victory, she then boldly asserts that "there's no one in the world with the power to stop me now", only to be knocked to the ground by a bolt of green light. Which familiar face is responsible for knocking Dark Willow down, and then exclaiming, "I'd like to test that theory"? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The title of this episode ties in with the previous one, which ended with Willow (having killed Warren) stating, "One down." The "Two to Go" are of course Andrew and Jonathan, the weaker members of the defunct trio, whom Willow now focuses all of her attention on. But where exactly are Andrew and Jonathan at the beginning of this particular episode?

Answer: Jail

Unfortunately for Andrew and Jonathan, the opening moments of "Two to Go" show them languishing in jail, after an earlier attempt to rob an armoured vehicle (shown in the episode "Seeing Red") goes awry. Left behind by Warren, who escaped with a jet pack, the incarcerated duo has no idea that their former leader has tried (unsuccessfully) to kill Buffy, and has inadvertently killed Tara instead.

Moreover, they are unaware that Willow has killed Warren and given herself up to darkest of magic, and is now on the way to pick off Andrew and Jonathan as well.
2. Having been saved from Willow's wrath, at least for the moment, thanks to Buffy and a stolen police car driven by Xander, far from being grateful, a self-centred Andrew blurts out, "___ and hide? That's your brilliant plan?" Which of the following verbs belongs in the blank?

Answer: Run

Thanks to Buffy's Slayer strength, Andrew and Jonathan manage to break out of jail moments before Willow arrives to do them harm. However, due to the absence of the marked duo, an angry Willow then takes out her rage on poor Anya, who just moments earlier was desperately pleading with the police to allow Andrew and Jonathan to go free.

As a result, while Buffy and Xander drive the pair away from the scene, Anya is blasted to the ground by a spell of Willow's, and left unconscious on the floor. Following this, Buffy tries to reassure Andrew and Jonathan, by telling them that they'll "find someplace safe" until they can stop Willow, prompting Andrew to utter the words mentioned in the question.

The pair now fully comprehend the gravity of the situation, and though Andrew is still somewhat in denial regarding his role in recent events, Jonathan sees exactly why they are being targeted by Willow.
3. While things are going catastrophically wrong for Andrew and Jonathan, elsewhere in Sunnydale Dawn is busy trying to persuade the gentle, loose-skinned demon, Clem, to help her accomplish something she knows is dangerous. To try to tip the odds in her favour, she adds, "I need a demon to help me. ___ would have." Which noticeably absent character, who once claimed that Billy Idol stole his look, belongs in the blank?

Answer: Spike

Usually, when Buffy thinks that Dawn needs a babysitter, it is Spike who is tasked with looking after her. However in this episode, Spike has left Sunnydale, clearly disgusted at himself for having tried to rape Buffy in the episode "Seeing Red". Therefore Dawn is being looked after by the gentle, floppy eared Clem, whom she manipulates into helping her find the lair of a dark warlock that Willow is known to have visited in the past.

As for the pictorial clue, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fans will know that one of Spike's nicknames is Captain Peroxide, due his distinctive, bleached hair.
4. In dire need of a magical pick-me-up, Willow heads straight for the lair of a previous acquaintance, who once referred to her as tasting like "strawberry". Who is this evil magician, whose dark power is promptly drained by Dark Willow?

Answer: Rack

Rack is a powerful warlock, who was first introduced to Willow by Amy Madison, in the season six episode, "Smashed". At that time, Willow was given a powerful surge of magical energy, which is precisely what she is looking for in this particular episode, and so she returns to her old dealer for a pick-me-up.

However, unlike her previous visit, things do not end well for Rack, as Dark Willow drains him of every ounce of magic. Now their roles have been reversed, and it is Dark Willow who comes out the victor, leaving a lifeless Rack behind her.
5. Newly rejuvenated, Willow is confronted by Dawn and Buffy, but effortlessly controls them, and in the blink of an eye magically moves all three to the place Jonathan and Andrew have been hiding. Which familiar location has Willow returned to now?

Answer: The Magic Box

Having drained Rack of his power, Willow runs into Dawn, who has convinced Clem to help her find Rack's lair, in the hope of talking Willow down. However, Willow has other plans, and threatens to turn Dawn back into the mystical ball of energy she once was.

She is, thankfully, prevented from doing so by Buffy, who arrives on the scene just in the nick of time to save her sister. Nevertheless, Buffy has little control over Willow, who magically teleports the three of them to the Magic Box, where Anya and Xander are frantically trying to perform a protection spell for the hapless Jonathan and Andrew.
6. As Willow tries to penetrate the force field of Anya's protection spell, all Buffy can do is cry out weakly, "Dawn!", from her vantage point on the floor. Why is it that Buffy is incapable of helping Jonathan and Andrew right now?

Answer: Willow's teleportation spell has temporarily disoriented her.

In bringing Buffy and Dawn with her from Rack's lair, Willow has temporarily weakened and disoriented both of the sisters. Indeed as the three arrive at the Magic Box, Willow tells them "Sorry. It can be kind of a rough trip if you're, you know, not me." Following this, Dawn and Buffy both fall to the floor, leaving Andrew and Jonathan with only Anya's protection spell to shield them from Willow's wrath.

Answer: "I said I didn't want to. Didn't say I wouldn't!"

For those who have never viewed this scene, the words may not seem especially clever or particularly funny, but the mixture of the acting, choreography and the timing do result in a compelling moment, which is simultaneously comical. It's also a rather momentous moment for die-hard "Buffy" fans, who by now realise that it is in fact Willow who is the "big bad" of this particular season. Given the fact that almost every other "big bad" from previous seasons - the Master, Angelus, the Mayor, Adam and Glory, have all died in their quest to conquer Sunnydale, it suggests that only one of these two ladies will win. All in all, for me, this leads to this particular episode making my top 10 "Buffy" episodes list, as it keeps the viewer on tenterhooks until the very last second.

As for the pictorial clue, it is an anagram of the words, "I don't want to, but that won't stop me", which is essentially another way of saying the correct answer to the question.
8. While fleeing the scene of Buffy and Dark Willow's almighty fight, Andrew tries to convince Jonathan that they should become fugitives and seek refuge in which North American country?

Answer: Mexico

While Buffy does all she can to prevent Dark Willow from going after Jonathan and Andrew, Xander and Dawn and the terrified duo run aimlessly through the streets of Sunnydale. At this point it becomes clear that there is no safe haven to be had for the pair, and Xander is at a loss regarding where to take them.

It is at this point that Andrew suggests Mexico, before than threatening Xander at knifepoint, only to be then threatened by Jonathan, who has had enough of his friend's selfish antics.
9. When Dark Willow finally realises that it is Anya who is behind the protection spell that is shielding Andrew and Jonathan, she tells her, "You can't block my spells if you can't chant, and you can't chant if you're ___." What ominous word of Willow's belongs in the blank?

Answer: Sleeping

Having destroyed most of the inside of the Magic Box during her fight with Buffy, Dark Willow finally catches sight of Anya, who has been quietly chanting from behind a curtain. Seemingly amused, she grabs Anya by the throat before uttering the quotation mentioned in the question, and then throwing her into a shelving unit, where she sinks into unconsciousness.

As for the pictorial clue, it literally shows someone catching some Zs, which is also a popular idiom for sleeping.

Answer: Rupert Giles

This final moment is, in my opinion, one of the best endings in Buffy history, and really wasn't a moment I saw coming at the time. This plot twist was particularly well planned, as Anthony Stewart Head, who plays Giles, was not named in the opening credits, so as to not spoil his surprise appearance at the end.

As for the pictorial clue, throughout the series a great deal of emphasis is placed on the fact that Giles is English, hence the picture of the English flag.
