When Lorelai arrives at the outdoor flower market, Sookie is very excited, and won't stop talking, even when Lorelai tries to interrupt to inform her of the changed wedding plans. When Lorelai finally gets out that the wedding is postponed, Sookie thinks that Lorelai chose to postpone it!

Later on in the episode, the entire town comically marvels at April Nardini (Luke's kid) reading- is she really Luke's kid? But at this point, Sookie remembers seeing a kid that looks (and talks) just like Jackson! Lorelai assures Sookie that Jackson doesn't have a secret love-child, but then agrees that there is a kid out there that could be Jackson's son.

How does the entire town (as it isn't just Miss Patty and Babette, and viewers and Lorelai alike find out in a few moments) know that Luke has a kid? Even Kirk, when trying to stop the road block that is being caused by the swarm of people staring at Luke stops to look, amazed that April is reading...

Logan asks Russell to spell his last name so that Logan will be able to pronounce it properly the next time he speaks with his father. He then pretends to have broke his pen tip, and is "looking for a pen" for quite a while. He finally allows Russell to say his last name, and it turns out to be Smith. Logan jokes to Russell, "I guess I didn't really need a pen for that one after all." After expertly biding his time, Logan allows Russell to check again and make sure the paper really isn't there, as Rory finishes up in the nick of time and sends it to Russell. "And that's how we do it at the Yale Daily News!" Logan exclaims in joy when Russell has found it.

Luke kept running up into his apartment to look at the copy of "Geometry for Dummies" he had stashed up there every time April asked him a question, but he couldn't help at all. As Lorelai suggested, he needed "Geometry for Dummies for Dummies". April is only 12 years old, whereas an 8th grader would normally be 13-14. Furthermore, Geometry in 8th grade is for the advanced students only.

While the "slightly pornographic" fountain is mentioned in the fairy tale, there certainly wasn't any spray paint involved. Dinner was eaten inside the Gilmore mansion, and only then. The fairly tale Lorelai told was quite cute, though!

Viewers could actually see the artwork through the glass windows- a painting of a moon in an array of blue. Emily was obviously doing whatever she could to avoid being with Rory and Lorelai.

"Oh- my God!" Lorelai yells, emphasizing how worn-out the topic is. In between the yelling about all sorts of things the delicious sorbet (passion fruit- I believe, not mango) is discussed. Every laughs about what Emily said to Shira Huntzberger (what an evil woman Emily is!). And Lorelai's ending comment was quite memorable: "I believe the Friday night dinner is officially reinstated."
