Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Episode: "The Engagement"

Answer: The Muted Heart

The first episode of season 7 saw the return of Susan. She hadn't been on the show since Season 4, but was brought back in a big way, ending up engaged to George.

George is forced to pass up watching movies he likes to instead watch 'Chick Flicks' with Susan, one of which is "The Muted Heart".
2. Episode: "The English Patient"

Answer: Sack Lunch

This was season 8, episode 17 of the series.

Elaine wanted desperately to see the comedy "Sack Lunch" but it was sold out. So instead she and her boyfriend Blaine are forced to see "The English Patient" which she hates.

Eleven days after the episode aired, the real movie "The English Patient" won best picture at the 69th annual Academy Awards.
3. Episode: "The Rye"

Answer: Firestorm

"The Rye" was season 7, episode 11 of the show.

The episode centers on George and Susan's parents meeting for the first time. He spends a large portion of it trying to stop a fight over a loaf of Rye bread.

The movie "Firestorm" was talked about during dinner with the two sets of parents, where Frank Costanza says it might be the best action movie of all time.
4. Episode: "The Movie"

Answer: Rochelle, Rochelle

This was season 4, episode 14 of the series.

The group of friends was supposed to see "CheckMate" but after a series of issues, and change of theater, they are forced to instead see "Rochelle, Rochelle" which only Kramer was interested in.

It was George's fault, as he got in the wrong line at the first theater, causing them to not get tickets for their first choice.
5. Episode: "The Little Kicks"

Answer: Death Blow

This was season 8, episode 4 of the series.

Jerry had two tickets for a sneak peek showing of "Death Blow" but Kramer invited a third wheel, forcing Jerry to find an extra ticket.

Kramer's friend turns out to be a bootlegger, who ends up forcing Jerry to record the movie at gunpoint.
6. Episode: "The Pool Guy"

Answer: Chunnel

This was season 7, episode 8 of the series.

The episode focused around Jerry not getting along with his pool boy, and Kramer getting a new phone number. The B-plot with Kramer is one of my favorites in the series as people confuse him with the "moviephone". Rather than correct them, he takes to reading movie descriptions and showtimes to people on the phone. "Chunnel" was one of those movies in the episode.
7. Episode: "The Heart Attack"

Answer: Flaming Globes of Sigmund

This was season two, episode 8 of the series.

The running gag of the episode is that Jerry fell asleep while watching the B movie "The Flaming Globes of Sigmund" but not before writing down a joke. The issue is that he can't read his writing the next morning and keeps asking people to try to read it for him.

George has a heart attack while are lunch with Jerry and Elaine.
8. Episode: "The Calzone"

Answer: Means to an End

This was season 7, episode 19 of the series.

The movie had only a small reference in the episode, that more focused on George building a relationship with New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner. They bonded over Calzones. Which caused a problem when George was banned from the restaurant where Steinbrenner's favorite dish came from.

The movie played into Elaine going on a date with a man who never actually asked her out, they see the movie, and later Jerry and a date see the same movie.
9. Episode: "The Dog"

Answer: Prognosis Negative

This was season 3, episode 4 of the series.

Elaine turned down seeing the movie with George, as she wanted to see it with Jerry. Jerry later has to cancel because he is babysitting a friend's dog.

The fake movie is mentioned a few other times during the series as well.

Series creator Larry David had written a screenplay with that title years prior to creating "Seinfeld".
10. Episode "The Puerto Rican Day"

Answer: Blimp: The Hindenburg Story

This was season 9, episode 20 of the series. Other than the finale, it was the highest-rated episode of the series.

Due to a scene with a Kramer accidentally burning a Puerto Rican flag, the episode aired only once from 1998 to 2002 before it started to appear again.

The episode focuses on the four main characters leaving a Mets game early to beat the crowds, but then getting stuck in a parade on Puerto Rican Day. The reference to the fake movie comes in George talking about it in the car.
