Since he couldn't harass George and Orry anymore he decided to pick on Ned Fisk. He forced him to ride a horse that no one but Bent could ride and he was thrown off, claiming to his superiors that he had no idea how it happened.

Answer: Alice Peet

George remembered that Lt. DeJong thought Alice Peet did laundry for him and no one else. They used that information against Bent. Lt. DeJong came to visit Alice Peet, only to find her with Bent. Bent was dismissed from West Point and he vowed revenge against Mr. Main and Mr. Hazard.

Bent used his connection as an illegitimate son of a state senator to get a post in the war against Mexico. Naturally Orry and George were shocked and none too pleased to see him. Elkanah Bent gave a crazy order for them to go across the bridge despite both George and Orry's points that it would be useless. Orry's left leg was injured and he limped for the rest of his life.

Her father was Colonel Flynn, played by Robert Mitchum, who took a liking to George's interest in Constance. They came from Ireland and Colonel Flynn was only in one episode and wasn't present when George and Constance were married.

George was marrying Constance and he wanted out of the army so he gave up his commission. He calmly walked over to the cantina where Bent was being entertained by two women. He first beat Ezekial who refused to name anyone, then he beat Clyta who also refused to name anyone. Madeline was about to go outside and reveal herself as the one who helped Priam escape but Maum Sally stopped her, saying he would kill her.
