Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. According to the first series of 'Only Fools and Horses', what was the age difference between Del and Rodney?

Answer: 12-13 years

In the first episode of 'Only Fools and Horses', Rodney's age was 23. In the second episode of 'Only Fools and Horses', Del's age was revealed as 35. Interestingly, Although the age difference between Del & Rodney was 12-13 years, There was 21 years difference between the two actors who played Del & Rodney.

Answer: 4 meters

Damien was (in the words of Del) "doing a Johnny Cash" in the swimming pool from the 4 meter diving board.

Answer: Homesick

In the episode 'Homesick', Rodney asked Trigger why he called him Dave whilst in the meeting where he became the vice-chairman (then became the chairman!) of the tenants' association.
4. Which road did Rodney tell Cassandra he lived at in the famous episode 'Yuppy Love'?

5. Which of the following places did the Trotters NOT visit in any episode of 'Only Fools and Horses'?

Answer: Bournemouth

In 'Only Fools and Horses', The Trotters went to Brighton in the episode 'Mother Nature's Son' right at the end of the episode. They went to Margate in the episode 'The Jolly Boys' Outing' and they went to Winchester in the episode 'Tea For Three'. I also believe they filmed part of an episode in Bournemouth but the Trotters didn't go there in any 'Only Fools and Horses' episode.
6. Which of the following nationalities was NEVER mentioned in any of the 'Only Fools and Horses' episodes?

Answer: Portuguese

Greek was mentioned several times, For example, Paddy the Greek, and when Albert said a "Greek fishing Trawler". German was mentioned in the episode 'From Prussia With Love' and Swedish was mentioned in the same episode, when Rodney said "Maybe she's Swedish". Portuguese was never mentioned.
7. What was the only episode NOT to feature a laughter track on TV or DVD?

Answer: To Hull and Back

Episodes 'Christmas Crackers' and 'Diamonds Are for Heather' both featured a laughter track on both TV & DVD. 'Miami Twice: Part Two' didn't have a laughter track on TV but does on the DVD version. So 'To Hull and Back' is the only episode not to feature a laughter track on TV or DVD.

Answer: Plonkers Don't Have To

'Plonkers Don't Have To' was originally the working title for the last ever episode of 'Only Fools and Horses' before changing to 'Sleepless In Peckham'.
9. What was Rodney's painting called in the episode 'The Unlucky Winner Is...'?

Answer: Marble Arch At Dawn

In the episode 'The Unlucky Winner Is...', Rodney's painting was called 'Marble Arch At Dawn'. Interestingly, in the episode 'A Royal Flush', the painting was referred to as 'Marble Arch At Dusk'. Also 'Arc de Triomphe' was what Rodney said it was meant to be.
