Although Vince did have a short-lived goth phase in Series 2, he was referred to as a goth fairy, not a goth giant.

'Killeroo' was the first episode of the first series of 'The Mighty Boosh'. Bob Fossil summons Howard to his office and then performs a very random dance for him to a 10cc track. The point of this seems to be to express Fossil's dislike for cricket! Bob Fossil is played by Richard Fulcher.

4. Which animal does Fossil refer to as 'the hairy Russian carpet guy'?

Fossil says this in 'The Hitcher', which is the final episode of the first series. He is talking to a group of children and their father, just before Howard and Vince start playing some music for the bear to dance to. Vince adores Gary Numan and mentions him repeatedly throughout the first series. Vince is a huge fan of electro music and even joins an electro band in the seventh episode of series 1, which is aptly titled 'Electro'.
