Answer: 20 years

This fact is mentioned a few times in the episode. They say after 20 years of being in prison, they are afraid people don't remember them as notorious outlaws anymore. They set out to build up their reputation once more. They say now they feel more like "The Older Brothers."

2. How many times does Cole Younger get blown backwards from explosions?

Answer: Three times

First, he gets blown backwards when his brother blows up the Silverhill bank door. He gets blown halfway across the street. This happens to him twice more, both times when his brother is trying to blow up the jailhouse door.

3. Who steals the $500 from Cole that he'd received from Almanzo and John Carter as ransom for Mr. Edwards?

Answer: Jesse James and his brother

As Cole is riding away with the $500, he is stopped by two men with scarves over their faces. They draw guns on him, and take his money. They say they are the most fearsome outlaws, Jesse James and his brother.

That is all that the first stage coach they robbed was carrying, mail bags. But by reading some of the mail they found out that Mr. Edwards would be carrying $500 in cash with him on his trip.

Answer: Lonnie Younger

Lonnie was the one who blew up the doors. Cole was the leader, and Sonny was the one who was reading the stolen mail all the time. There was no Bill Younger or Sam Younger.

6. Why did Sonny Younger say he liked reading the stolen mail?

Answer: Because he never got any letters while he was in prison

Cole got mad at him all the time for reading the mail. Sonny said he liked to because he never got any mail while in prison.

7. What is the well known phrase that Cole Younger constantly quoted to his brothers?

Answer: "Don't cry over spilled milk."

The three brothers were not very good outlaws, they messed up a lot. But instead of being upset, he'd yell at them and say "Don't cry over spilled milk!"

8. What town was the bank in that they robbed in this episode?

Answer: Silverhill

Their hideout was not too far from the town of Silverhill, so that is where they went to stage their first robbery in 20 years.

He was taking a bath in his hotel, and the sheriff burst into his room to arrest him.
