The series "ArliSS" ran for seven seasons and 80 episodes. Arliss Michaels ran a sports agency and his interactions with and on behalf of his clients was the basis of the show's plot. The show had its first run on HBO (Home Box Office) and a number of the show's fans claimed that it was the only reason they subscribed to the chanel.

"I Only Want To Be With You", performed by Dusty Springfield was used as the series theme song beginning in the second season. During the first season, "I Can't Help Myself", performed by the Four Tops, was the theme song.
2. "Cybill" (1995-1998)

"Cybill" ran for four seasons and 87 episodes. In the series, Cybill Shepherd portrayed and actress and mother of two children who had never quite had her big break as an actress. "Cybill won the 1996 Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series -- Musical or Comedy. Aspects of the series were drawn from Shepherd's real life.

The theme song for the series, "Nice Work If You Can Get It" was performed by Cybill Shepherd and originally written in 1937 by George and Ira Gershwin.
3. "Doctor Doctor" (1999-2001)

"Doctor Doctor" ran for three seasons and 40 episodes. Matt Frewer portrays a doctor at a medical practice known for his antics mixed with his job as a doctor. Over time the supporting characters became a greater focus on the show. Low ratings would lead to the cancellation of the series in its third season.

The song "Good Lovin'", written by Ahmet Ertegün, Leroy Kirkland, Jesse Stone, and Danny Taylor, served as the theme song of the series.

"Suddenly Susan" focuses on a writer at a San Francisco magazine. The series looked at both the working life and private life of a number of the magazine's employees. "Suddenly Susan" lasted for four seasons and 93 episodes. The series aired in its first run on NBC and ranked Number Three in the Nielsen ratings in its first season.

Shawn Colvin and John Leventhal wrote "Nothing on Me', which was performed by Colvin. The song served as theme song of the series in Seasons 2 and 3.
8. "Unhappily Ever After" (1995-1999)

"Unhappily Ever After" aired for five seasons and exactly 100 episodes. The series focuses on a very dysfunctional family where the parents are separated for most of the series but still live in the same home. A feature of the series was a stuffed, gray bunny--Mr. Floppy--who only talks to the father.

"Hit the Road Jack" was written by Percy Mayfield in 1960. The cover of the theme by Ray Charles would be the theme song for the series.

"Veronica's Closet" ran for three seasons and 66 episodes. The titular Veronica is the owner of lingerie company. She has recently divorced her often cheating husband. 10. "The Wayans Bros." (1995-1999)

"THe Wayans Bros." ran for five seasons and 101 episodes. Shawn and Marlon Wayans, brothers in real life, play two brothers who live and work in Harlem at a newsstand. The series was part of the original Wednesday night lineup on then new channel, the WB. The series was cancelled in 1999 due to declining ratings.

During the first two seasons, the theme song was "Electric Relaxation", written and performed by A Tribe Called Quest.
