Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What Japanese game is "Elite Beat Agents" based on?

Answer: Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!

"Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!" is a Japanese DS game following the same gameplay format of "Elite Beat Agents" (with the hits and spins and whatnot), but it was about a group of male cheerleaders who danced to J-pop hits to help others. Seeing as that wouldn't be popular in America, Nintendo and Inis decided to change the songs and plot of the game.
2. Which episode does Sam the dog NOT appear in?

Answer: Cry Wolf! Meteorology and Parenting!!

In "Family Honor", Sam pees on the refrigerator if you get the bad ending. In "Aspire", Sam pees on Amanda's radio if you get the bad version of the first scenario. In "Rags to Riches", Sam pees on the Colonel.
3. How many years later does the mission failed ending of "A Christmas Gift" take place?

Answer: Ten

The mission failed ending of this episode involves Lucy and her mother giving up about their father and moving away. It takes place when Lucy is 17 and her mother 42.
4. How many bonus episodes are unlockable?

Answer: Three

The three bonus episodes are "Aspire, Dancing to the Limelight!", "Here Kitty Kitty, Baby Hijinks!" and "The Last Laugh, Just a Peanut Matter!". The songs that are unlocked are "Believe" by Cher, "ABC" by the Jackson 5, and "Survivor" by Destiny's Child.
5. What is the highest Agent Rank achievable?

Answer: Lovin' Machine

Upon obtaining the rank of Lovin' Machine, you are also awarded a special congratulations picture. It depicts all the agents having fun at the beach.
6. How many songs in total are unlockable?

Answer: Nineteen

Sixteen regular songs and three bonus songs are unlockable. Most are unlocked by clearing other songs.
7. Which only episode where nobody screams for help?

Answer: A Christmas Gift

"A Christmas Gift" is the only episode where nobody screams for help and one of the few where the commander doesn't say "Agents are Go!". It is also the only episode with no exclamation marks in its title.
8. One of the "Elite Beat Agents" songs also appeared in "Guitar Hero II". Who was it?

Answer: Rock This Town

"Rock This Town", a song by the Stray Cats, also appeared in "Guitar Hero II". It was one of the last songs, whereas in this game, it was one of the first.
9. Who is the only character with no arm-waving animation?

Answer: Amanda

One would be tempted to say Lucy, but remember, she waved in "Without a Fight". Amanda never waves in her own song, nor in "Without a Fight".
10. Which character does not make in appearance in the "Elite Beat Agents" Japanese counterpart?

Answer: The squid warrior, from "Battle of the Aces"

The announcer, groom, and cops all make appearances in the Japanese game. The squid's name is Skwid and he travels through space.
