When you enter through the flight deck to check the ship systems, soon after the voice is done with the diagnostic, two Slashers appear-- one through the vent in the flight decks ceiling-- and it kill the pilots of the Kellion (the shuttle you are on in the beginning of the game). The second comes through the other vent in the room you are in.

Answer: Lurker

A lurker is a necromorph that took its form from mutating babies that were on the ship at the time. You will first encounter these type of necromorphs during the second chapter. These guys shoot spikes from their tentacles that immobilise its victim. Really horrible death.

Answer: Pregnant

The reason you shouldn't hit the Pregnant is because it contains nasty swarms which are another type of necromorph found in the game. Swarms are necromorphs that are pieces of flesh (I know it sounds gross but that's what they are) and they normally attack in groups/swarms hence their name.

Answer: Kendra

Kendra gets killed at the end by the hivemind while trying to escape. While running up the ramp of the shuttle the hivemind comes up from its depths and swings its tentacles at Kendra, swatting her into the nearby wall. The hivemind then swats her around like a ragdoll before throwing her hard into the wall causing her to flat line.

Kendra is a government agent who double-crosses Isaac in the end anyway.

Answer: Puker

Pukers are not from the first game, rather they are from the second game.

Pukers are necromorphs that spit acid and literally puke it all over you, causing burning and death.

Answer: Drag Tentacle

Drag Tentacle appears three times during the game-- the first time would be after fixing the gravity centrifuge and the second time would be getting dragged in the bunkers. The last time is during chapter eleven before the end when not one but three attack you while you drag the marker through cargo to the shuttle.

Kendra: "So that's the Ishumura, huh?"

It can also be seen on the side of the ship or the inside where it is on the left of the flight deck ramp.

Answer: Peng

The Peng Treasure can be found over the side in the flight deck. You can retrieve it in chapter 11 with your Kinesis module when Kendra double crosses you.

Answer: Asteroid Defence System

The Asteroid Defence System is used for the asteroid-blasting part of the game where you are to destroy the asteroids to avoid the ship getting ripped apart. This happens during Chapter 4: Obliteration Imminent, when you have to defend the ship from oncoming asteroids or you will get killed within the small room if your hull integrity drops to 0%.

Answer: Plasma Cutter

The Plasma Cutter is lying on a tool table below the words in blood that state 'cut off their limbs'. You have to dismember the necromorphs to conserve ammo as it says in the game.
