Question 7 of 10
7. Ghost Face's level 40 perk is a relatively bizarre Obsession based perk. Whenever the Obsession is hooked, the Killer using this perk gains Undetectable and Haste statuses for a short period of time. Whenever the Obsession is rescued off the hook, the rescuer becomes the new Obsession.

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Ghost Face's melee weapon for basic attacks is as simple and deadly as they come. What is it?

Answer: Knife

In the Ghost Face's reveal trailer, an unidentifiable man roams a grocery store aisle, makes a selection, then heads to the checkout lane. Once there, the camera cuts away from him onto the cashier. The cashier reaches for the container which held the knife, only to find it has been opened.

He then eyes the man and gathers a look of terror in his face. The shot then cuts to the man having been stabbed to death, as the customer, revealed to be Ghost Face, tosses some dollar bills behind him as he drives his shopping cart out of the building.

It is probable that this very weapon is what is used for Ghost Face's basic attacks.
2. Ghost Face's power is the Night Shroud, and despite its simplicity, it offers quite a bit of utility. At the forefront of this utility is the beneficial status effect Ghost Face receives anytime he activates Night Shroud. What status effect does he receive upon doing so?

Answer: Undetectable

When Undetectable, Ghost Face will have no terror radius, emit no red stain, and can thus be completely stealthy so long as he remains in his power.
3. Unfortunately, Ghost Face's Night Shroud can be relatively fragile at times as he will be unable to keep it up for the entirety of a typical match and there are many ways he can be forced out of it. Which of the following will cause Night Shroud to be deactivated?

Answer: Ghost Face swinging his weapon

Attempting a basic attack will immediately deactivate Night Shroud. Survivors can potentially spot Ghost Face, and if they look directly at him within a short distance and keep looking at him for a handful of seconds, they will 'reveal' him, forcing his Night Shroud to be deactivated.

Fortunately, Night Shroud will become available not too long after it is deactivated, so being revealed or forced out via a basic attack is a temporary inconvenience, not a crippling, game-changing occurrence.
4. Ghost Face and Pig are both Stealth Killers. They can both crouch and sneak around. Both will come out of stealth to attack in very different ways. Who can stand from their crouching position faster?

Answer: The Ghost Face

The Ghost Face moves faster when crouch walking and can stand up instantly, attacking out of the stand without delay.

The Pig moves slightly slower when crouching. As well, if the player simply wants to stand from her crouch, she does so slowly and must take a second to unsheathe her blade before being able to attack, juxtaposed to Ghost Face who never puts his blade away. However, from a crouching position, she can use her power to initiate an ambush attack that travels quite far.

In terms of who has the 'better' crouch and stealth gameplay, it's difficult to say. Ghost Face is more flexible, Pig is more versatile.
5. Every Killer gets three teachable perks that, when acquired, can be given to other Killers. Ghost Face's first perk in that regard will reveal the aura of Survivors within a short distance of him when they fast vault objects, on a moderate cooldown. What perk is it?

Answer: I'm All Ears

The cooldown on this perk looks unwieldy at first, but ends up being relatively reasonable considering how powerful the perk's effects are. In particular, this perk is a godsend for Pyramid Head and is very useful for the Doctor, as they can pinpoint where a Survivor has run to after jumping through a window and can use their respective projectiles to much more efficient lengths as a result.

The ability to negate mindgaming on the Survivor's end completely often results in the Killer landing one easy hit, and it is therefore a solid pick for a perk for just about anyone.
6. Ghost Face's second perk blocks off all generators not being worked on when a Killer picks up a downed Survivor. It will highlight those blocked generators in white, clearly identifying occupied generators with their typical red auras to the Killer. What perk is this?

Answer: Thrilling Tremors

This perk is another excellent pick for just about anyone. Its utility is amplified on high mobility Killers such as Nurse, Hillbilly and Freddy, who have the means to quickly arrive to the generator being worked on and chase Survivors off of it. Due to the fact it gives Killers their next course of action after a hook, it is a good pick on practically anyone.
What perk is this?

Answer: Furtive Chase

Furtive Chase is unique for being one of few Killer perks to be able to change the Obsession in the middle of the game. If the Killer using it manages to hook the Obsession early, it is likely that Furtive Chase will accomplish this many times throughout a game. What some may not realize is that this can make the Rift challenge "Hook your Obsession five times" much more easily achievable than without Furtive Chase. Without Furtive Chase, the Killer would either need to spend a minimum of two games achieving this, or would need to rely on a Survivor perk, such as Decisive Strike or For The People, to make it doable in a single game. Therefore, Furtive Chase can make this challenge much quicker and easier to achieve.

This perk has seen numerous changes in terms of the benefit Killers receive when hooking the Obsession. However, it has consistently retained its ability to change the Obsession.
8. This ultra rare add-on allows Ghost Face to regain usage of Night Shroud immediately when he downs a Survivor. What is this?

Answer: "Ghost Face Caught On Tape"

This perk once made Ghost Face's stalking lethal. If done from cover while leaning, Ghost Face could Mark a Survivor in less than one full second. This had a tendency to punish Survivors for even the slightest slip up in their general perception of Ghost Face's whereabouts.

Perhaps this explains why Behaviour nerfed it considerably. Unfortunately, downed Survivors can reveal Ghost Face, so if he activates Night Shround upon downing someone, this will take place and essentially waste the add-on.

However, if Ghost Face hooks or slugs the Survivor and takes time to get out of their line of sight so they can't reveal him, he will find Night Shroud would have already been available for use without this add-on.

Night Shroud's recharge time is fairly generous as is. That makes this add-on's use fairly inconsistent at best.
9. This ultra rare add-on will show Ghost Face the auras of all Survivors outside of his terror radius once he downs a Marked Survivor. What add-on is this?

Answer: Outdoor Security Camera

Should Ghost Face accomplish this whilst using his power, he will have no terror radius and can thereby see the auras of all Survivors on the map. This has utility in allowing Ghost Face to identify a potential flashlight or pallet saver nearby, allowing him to chase them off before claiming his hook. That utility by itself is really useful and makes this add on worthwhile.

It does get significantly less useful if the Ghost Face is forced out of his power and does not recover it before downing the Marked Survivor.

In that scenario, this add-on becomes a watered down Barbecue & Chilli, which still makes it pretty good overall!
10. Ghost Face is a 115% movement speed Killer like most other Killers. However, unlike most others, Ghost Face has the ability to crouch and begin walking whilst becoming harder to spot. While crouching however, Ghost Face begins to move slower than when normally walking. Juxtaposed to the Survivors, what movement speed will a crouched Ghost Face go at, assuming no add-ons would be enhancing that?

Answer: 90%

Ghost Face's crouch is a bit faster than his fellow stealth Killer Pig, who has a similar crouch walk. Unlike Pig, Ghost Face has add-ons which speed up his crouch walk. Unlike Pig, Ghost Face can attack while crouching, and he can crouch and stand much faster than she can.

His crouch can be very useful at loops where there is a structure he can hide behind, to mask his movement and have a slightly upper hand mindgaming Survivors. Good examples of locations this takes place in would be the Badham Preschool, Hawkins National Laboratory and Red Forest.
