Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Jake Park

Answer: Calm Spirit

Jake Park's Perks lean into his ability to be resourceful in nature, so in addition to Calm Spirit he uses Saboteur and Iron Will. Calm Spirit is an interesting perk in that it's one of the few to address the birds found throughout the stages, especially at the perimeters, allowing users to move on past with a severely reduced chance of triggering them and making an alert for the Killer. Calm Spirit also reduces the chances of noises generated when driven into Madness by the Doctor.
2. Laurie Strode

Answer: Decisive Strike

Decisive Strike is the type of perk that repeatedly weaves through the meta builds of the game because it allows for a bit of a second chance when being downed by the Killer. Although the Survivor typically becomes the Obsession when using this Perk, it means that, when lifted by the killed, there will be a chance for them to make a skill check to jump out of the Killer's grasp; if they fail, too bad. Killers have gotten around this particular gimmick a number of ways including 'dribbling' the Survivor (dropping them repeatedly) and swinging at the opportune time.
3. Feng Min

Answer: Lithe

Feng Min is both wily and clever as her Perks lean into useful generator-centric options and quick escape options. Lithe is in the latter category since it allows her (or anyone else, really) to sprint after vaulting during a chase. The only catch is that after three seconds, the sprint immediately leads to exhaustion for an extended period of time, so the perk is used best when you're also able to deke out the Killer and cleverly hide.

A speedier Killer will make up for it in the chase if you're not wily enough.
4. Jeff Johansen

Answer: Distortion

Jeff's Distortion Perk is somewhat of a counter to some of the more frequently-run Killer Perks like Barbecue & Chilli since it both blocks instances of shown auras and indicates that the Killer is running said abilities. While this also blocks some status affecting perks like Iron Maiden, it does not remove the status effects.

This perk starts with a number of tokens and which can replenish, so in some games it's still imperative to play smart. Some Killers, like Freddy and the Doctor, are very effective at pipping these tokens with minimal effort.
5. Claudette Morel

Answer: Self Care

Self Care, if you're getting hit an awful lot, can come in quite useful. Claudette, notable for her healing Perks (Empathy and Botany Knowledge are her others), is an ideal support, but Self Care is all about you. With it, you don't need to bring a healing kit along for the round.

Instead, you always have a secondary action to heal yourself and that action can be boosted by other Perks (eg. Botany Knowledge). The rate at which you can heal with this Perk is severely slow compared to using a regular Medkit or having others help you out.
6. Dwight Fairfield

Answer: Leader

Dwight is all about synergy. The Leader Perk is one that's actually bestowed on other people; if Dwight is in range they get a speed bonus on actions made excluding generator completion. Dwight has another similar Perk, Prove Thyself, which is specifically used to increase generator progress and increase Bloodpoint intake when working together to do so. Dwight's third Perk, Bond, allows him to see all Survivors within a specific range, even if out of line of sight.
7. Adam Francis

Answer: Diversion

Diversion can be used to give yourself a bit of a fighting chance against a naive Killer. Anyone using this Perk is able to throw a small rock out into the distance, creating an audible distraction for a Killer that may be just enough to send them looking for you somewhere else.

This secondary action can only be done while crouching and levelling up the Perk will increase the distance. Adam's other Perks are Autodidact and Deliverance. He was introduced alongside The Spirit in 2018.
8. Nea Karlsson

Answer: Urban Evasion

Urban Evasion is a great general Perk and while it's taught through Nea's Bloodweb, it tends to be perfect as a utility choice. This Perk allows users to move faster when crouching, often increasing their speed to make it a viable method of moving around the map, especially when facing off against Killers like the Hag who utilize movement to catch out foes.

At max level, Urban Evasion doubles crouch speed. Her other Perks are Streetwise and Balanced Landing.
9. David King

Answer: Dead Hard

David his a hearty Survivor to play and much of his build-up involves being able to take a beating. Dead Hard is particularly interesting and often run by Survivors who seek to be in the throes of a chase. With this Perk, if you're pursued by the Killer, you get the opportunity to sprint ahead at the right moment, pushing ahead of the swing.

This will, inevitably, leave you exhausted though, so it's perhaps best used to get you to a vault or a pallet since you're in such close range. Dead Hard also allows Survivors to pass over the Trapper's bear traps on the ground.
10. Meg Thomas

Answer: Quick & Quiet

Quick & Quiet is, generally, a great Perk for maneuverability since it allows the Survivor to get around the map without causing too much noise. When utilized, it allows you to jump over a vault, while running, without making an audible notification or, alternatively, you can jump in and out of a locker without doing so. Once triggered, the Perk can not be used again for up to half a minute at lower levels or, at the best level, twenty seconds.
