Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the main objective for the survivors?

Answer: Open the exit gates and escape

At its core, this is what the survivors strive to do. In order to power the exit gate, five of the map's eight generators must be repaired. After doing so, the exit gates will be powered, can be opened, and the survivors may escape.
2. What is the main objective for the killer?

Answer: Sacrifice survivors to the Entity

In order to achieve this, a killer must place an individual survivor on the various sacrificial hooks lying around the map a maximum of three times. Should the survivor's teammates be unable to rescue the survivor within a certain timeframe, it is possible that sacrificial progression will reach the point where a full three times is unnecessary.

In fact, it is very possible that the first time hooking a survivor could be their last should their teammates be incapable of pulling them off the hook.
3. Oh no, the killer got you! And... After making some progress towards their goal, they're just standing there and staring at you. What is another term commonly used to describe this action?

Answer: Face-camping

Face-camping is done to best take advantage of the fact that survivors only have a limited amount of time to save their fallen brethren. After all, if the survivors cannot reach their hooked ally because the killer is guarding them, then it'll be pretty hard to prevent them from being sacrificed, right? Fortunately, there is counter-play to doing this, so it isn't quite curtains for the victim just yet.

However, it will take teamwork, good communication, a helpful perk such as Borrowed Time, and maybe even a little bit of luck depending on just how far the killer is willing to go to ensure that your teammate cannot be saved.
4. As the killer, say you spawn into the game and decide to walk across the map, patrolling the area for survivors. While you're doing so, incredibly, two generators are already repaired! You could say you're in danger of being what?

Answer: Gen-rushed

"Gen rush" is an accurate term meant to depict how ludicrously fast a survivor can repair a generator. If a team of four like-minded survivors immediately begin repairing a generator, this team is seeking to "gen-rush" the killer. A survivor with no toolboxes or anything beneficial to aid them, by themselves, can finish repairing a generator extremely quickly, in just over a minute. With the help of such items, add-ons or teammates, this time can be cut by quite a lot, placing the killer under a lot of pressure to get things done quickly.
5. Oh no, your teammate got downed by the killer! You get your flashlight ready, waiting to go in for the save. Instead, to your horror, the killer is... Killing the survivor! Whether by savagely beating them or doing something else grotesque, the killer's actions just helped them immensely towards achieving their goal. What horrible deed did you just witness the killer do?

Answer: Mori

A Mori is an add-on that enables the killer to kill the survivor by their own hand, bypassing the sacrificial procedure and disposing of the survivor in a faster, much more satisfying way. There are conditions attached to a Mori that the killer must achieve before being able to actually perform it.

The strictest would be the Cypress Mori, a mori which only enables the killer to Mori a survivor if they're the last survivor left on the map. The loosest would be the Ebony Mori, a mori which enables the killer to mori a survivor after hooking them just once.

The middle ground would be the Ivory Mori, a Mori which still enables the killer to mori a once-hooked survivor, but only allows the killer to mori that one survivor for the rest of the game, forcing them to choose wisely.
6. The survivors are on the cusp of achieving their goals. However, upon doing so, the ground begins to grow some weird patches of orange. In the distance, a loud, low pitched bell can be heard periodically and a light tremor begins to occur. What is going on?

Answer: The End-Game sequence has begun

End-Game can be triggered either when the killer closes the hatch, opens the exit gates, or when the survivors themselves open the exit gates. In End-Game, survivors have 120 seconds to escape the map through these gates. If any survivor fails to do so, the Entity will appear, claiming them and awarding the killer with a sacrifice for doing so.
7. The killer has nearly achieved their own goals, and only one alive survivor remains. Still, even when things seem hopeless, there is still one thing that survivor can do to win the game. What is this?

Answer: Escape through the hatch

The hatch is a magical trapdoor which, when entered by a survivor, enables them to automatically escape the trial and win the game. It will spawn either when the survivor in question is the last one on the map, or when the number of survivors left minus generators needing to be repaired is equal to or lesser than zero, with the minimum amount of generators left for this to happen being two.

In other words, if two survivors remain and two generators are in need of repair, the hatch will spawn. The hatch will not open until there is only one survivor left, or if someone opens it with a key.
8. While the binary of the game is clear, survivors vs the killer, both sides can equip themselves with traits which can enhance their ability to function. What are these more commonly referred to as?

Answer: Perks

Each side can equip themselves with up to four perks to help them in a trial. Survivors are mainly just skins, so the same "good perks" will be consistent across each survivor. The same cannot be said about killers, with each individual killer being very different from one another, and thus having different 'recommended perks'.
9. While killers have their powers and survivors have items, this is also not that black and white. Both sides can opt to enhance these advantages with something. What would this be?

Answer: Add-ons

Add-ons will enhance the power or item in question, making it more effective. For survivors, an add-on, for example, would increase the potency of a med kit, make a toolbox repair a generator faster, or give more battery life to a flashlight. For a killer, one such as Trapper could benefit from an add-on that makes his traps harder to see, and thus, easier to fall in. One such as Michael Myers could go for an add-on that makes him harder to detect, or rewards him for stalking survivors more than usual.
10. Praise be to the Entity, for she is great. A way to gain favor with the Entity, one both sides can take advantage of, would be through the use of a different self-enhancement. What is this?

Answer: Offerings

An 'offering' is immediately consumed upon use, and can convey certain unique, helpful advantages. This would most commonly be an offering that can influence the map the upcoming game will be played on, but could also be one which determines how much black mist covers the area, how lucky survivors can get, or how close or far sacrificial hooks are from one another.
