Question 7 of 10

Question 10 of 10
10. Like many Killers, the Hillbilly moves at 115% movement speed by default. However, his chainsaw sprint is his power, and sprint would imply he moves pretty quickly. Does he move faster than 115% movement speed when activating chainsaw sprint?

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Hillbilly is probably best known for his chainsaw. Not factoring add-ons or perks, when hit by his chainsaw sprint, what happens to Survivors?

Answer: They are immediately downed

Put simply, the chainsaw is immensely deadly. It is also capable of instantly breaking pallets, letting Hillbilly take advantage of anxious usage of them.
2. Sometimes, a particularly stingy Survivor might be able to avoid his chainsaw. So that's what his other weapon is for! What is the Hillbilly's other weapon, used for Basic Attacks?

Answer: A hammer

This will deal normal Basic Attack damage, assuming no perks or add-ons would enhance it more than usual. As such, it will injure healthy Survivors and down injured ones.
3. Every Killer in the game has three teachable perks that, upon acquiring, other Killers may access. For the Hillbilly, his first teachable perk at level 30 lets Killers shrug off pallet stuns a lot easier. What is it?

Answer: Enduring

Plain and simple, Enduring significantly lessens the stun effect of getting hit by a pallet. This perk, for many years, has been an extremely popular pick due to a couple things. First, it pairs beautifully with The Spirit's Spirit Fury. When they both activate, the Killer will have a pallet immediately destroyed and have little stun time, and will be able to hit the Survivor for free at that point.

The second trait is, even without a perk to combo it with, Enduring is very reliable, very useful, and very consistent.

It cannot be cleansed, Survivors cannot play around it by throwing down pallets a certain way, and it serves a very useful general function. As such, apart from The Nurse, there really aren't any Killers in the game who wouldn't benefit a lot from the perk in some way.
4. Annoyed at Survivors who try to flashlight stun you? This teachable perk, acquired by Hillbilly at level 35, could be just the remedy you're looking for. What is it?

Answer: Lightborn

Like Enduring, Lightborn is a very simple perk: it greatly enhances the Killer's resistance to blindness via flashlight, and it speeds up the recovery time of having been blinded. The perk can be overcome by particularly powerful flashlights in the hands of skilled Survivors, but Lightborn will reliably protect a Killer against anything else. If you're getting annoyed at how hard it has been fighting against Survivors who go for flashlight saves against you, this perk could be right up your alley.
5. This perk, acquired as a level 40 teachable, greatly helps in monitoring generators by informing the Killer whenever a generator reaches a high progression point. What is it?

Answer: Tinkerer

Tinkerer will give off a Loud Noise notification at the generator in question, and will also grant the Killer the Undetectable status, removing their Terror Radius, for a moderate period of time. This perk is definitely worth considering as an excellent generator monitor perk. In the hands of a particularly high mobility Killer, such as Hillbilly himself, it could allow for surprise downs or hits against Survivors who didn't see them coming.

Notably, it pairs wonderfully with the Hex: Ruin perk. By chasing away Survivors from a nearly completed generator, Ruin would immediately begin greatly regressing that generator, and could grant the Killer a great deal of momentum in doing so.
6. If you're upset at how linear Hillbilly's chainsaw sprint is, you may consider this add-on for use. Do be warned, it comes with the drawback of increasing the cooldown when running into walls or objects. What is this add-on?

Answer: Thompson's Moonshine

This add-on could be good for intercepting predicted Sprint Burst users who thought they were going to get away. In general, it gives the player more wiggle room to nail Survivors with the chainsaw. The penalty of added cooldown when striking objects is significant, though, so the player must make extra certain to avoid these. Field of View increasing perks, such as Monitor and Abuse or Shadowborn, may be a good idea if using this add-on.
7. This add-on is perfect for if the player would like to slug Survivors. Even if an enemy Survivor revives them, the revived Survivor's repair speed will be hindered, and they'll suffer from the Mangled status effect thanks to this add-on. What is it?

Answer: Begrimed Chains

This add-on can be great for closing games out and maintaining the user's momentum to see it through. Perks which encourage or catalyze slugging, such as Infectious Fright, could be worthwhile to run in tandem with this add-on.
8. Most Killers have at least one add-on that hinders their performance in exchange for gaining more Bloodpoints somehow. The Hillbilly is no exception. Which add-on instills a strictly negative effect in exchange for giving him opportunity to gain more Bloodpoints?

Answer: Speed Limiter

The Speed Limiter prevents Hillbilly's chainsaw from being a one-hit down as it usually is. In exchange, the player will receive 50% more Bloodpoints for recording Chainsaw hits.

The author of this quiz has been playing this game for years, and has yet to ever actually meet someone who openly admitted to using this add-on or used it against the author of this quiz in a game. Heavily crippling Hillbilly's main niche in exchange for a meager amount of Bloodpoints makes it so it's not hard to see why.
9. Are you new to playing Hillbilly, and may be getting frustrated at how much you accidentally chainsaw sprint into objects, losing Survivors who get away while you're on cooldown? Perhaps this add-on, which reduces the penalty for doing this, would be for you. What is it?

Answer: Light Chassis

While the question suggests this add-on is mainly for newer players, it has practical use for experienced ones as well. Maps such as Lery's Memorial Institute, Haddonfield and the Dead Dawg Saloon are littered full of windows, doorways, packed buildings and general clutter throughout.

As such, this add-on should be viewed more as insurance than as a crutch for learning to use the Hillbilly with.
10. Like many Killers, the Hillbilly moves at 115% movement speed by default. However, his chainsaw sprint is his power, and sprint would imply he moves pretty quickly. Does he move faster than 115% movement speed when activating chainsaw sprint?

Answer: Yes

Because of this, the Hillbilly's ability to mow down Survivors in an open field is mostly unmatched. He can also cover ground very quickly, and is a Killer with great mobility.
