Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. When one thinks of the Wraith, his Wailing Bell is probably among the first things that come to mind. When rung, Wraith is able to do what is called cloaking or uncloaking. What does it mean to cloak?

Answer: When cloaked, he becomes completely invisible at a distance

When cloaked, Wraith is difficult to spot until he has already closed the gap considerably with his target. He also emits no terror radius unless running a Beast add-on, so his shtick is quite clear; use the cloak to approach Survivors and try to land a hit before they have long to react.
2. All is fun and games while the Wraith is cloaked, but there's a reason he needs to uncloak. Which of the following is true about a cloaked Wraith?

Answer: He cannot hit Survivors

The Wraith is actually significantly faster when cloaked, and he can do everything other than hit Survivors while cloaked. That includes breaking pallets, walls and kicking generators amongst other things.

As the Wraith cannot actually hit Survivors, he will need to uncloak in order to make significant progress against them. While he can technically obtain downs opening lockers with Survivors in them while cloaked, this is certain to only happen once in a very long while. Thus, uncloaking to strike Survivors is mandatory to success.
3. The Wraith makes use of a very odd weapon- a body part of his former boss from before he was a killer. What body part is on the weapon which the Wraith strikes Survivors with?

Answer: Skull

The Wraith's weapon is officially known as "Azarov's Skull." The basic story is that, before becoming entwined within the Entity's roster of Killers, the Wraith murdered his corrupt boss when he realized his boss made him unintentionally murder someone while working for a junkyard. He took his boss' skull and severed spine, the skull acting as the weapon, the spine as the grip.
4. The Wraith, like any other killer, has three base perks that can be eventually unlocked as teachable perks for other killers. His first one, unlocked at level 30, reveals Survivor auras to the Killer if the Killer loses them in chase. What perk does this?

Answer: Predator

This perk was one of the rarer ones to find people actually using for sure. There were numerous more effective tracking perks, as this perk used to simply take scratch marks from Survivors and bunch them up. The scratch marks left behind by a Survivor have never been hard to track without this perk at all. All perks weren't created equal, unfortunately...

...which is exactly why Behaviour would go on to rework this perk entirely, giving it a new purpose and making it far more generally useful. Instead of mess around with scratch marks, this perk would now let Killers more easily catch up to a Survivor that had eluded them in chase. This type of information is unique and consistently useful, putting Predator in a far, far better place.
5. This teachable perk, unlocked at level 35, highlights blood trails left behind by Survivors and makes them trackable for longer than usual. What is it?

Answer: Bloodhound

Bloodhound, on paper, appears to be relatively useless. Truth be told, it isn't hailed as a top of the line perk by any means, but it is at least somewhat valuable. Killers such as the Nurse or the Spirit may enhance their chasing capabilities further than they already are if they can detect a nearby injured survivor using this perk.

When paired with a perk like Sloppy Butcher, which is naturally a great perk and makes Survivors bleed even more, Bloodhound can be decently useful.
6. The Wraith's third and final teachable perk reveals the auras of any Survivors who attempt to, or successfully manage to blind the Killer in anyway. What is it?

Answer: Shadowborn

A fifteen degree increase in point of view was genuinely great. It was what this perk once did, until Behaviour updated the game to allow Killers to tamper with their FOV manually whenever they wanted, rendering FOV enhancing perks entirely obsolete. Upon being reworked, it would now try to position itself as a perk to defend Killers from flashlight wielding Survivors.
7. Having a difficult time deciding on a handful of generator monitoring perks on The Wraith? You could instead opt to use an add-on slot that can essentially mesh all of them into one add-on! Which add-on of the following will allow Wraith to monitor the progression of generators when cloaked?

Answer: "All Seeing" - Spirit

Generally viewed as Wraith's best add-on, this one essentially combines every generator monitoring perk into one, and lets him constantly monitor the entire map's generators while he is cloaked. This gives him great information on where Survivors are and, in tandem with his ability to get close easily, can lead to him starting games off very strongly.
8. This add-on, an Iridescent, enables Wraith to cloak and uncloak while his Wailing Bell becomes completely silent. What is it?

Answer: Coxclombed Clapper

If done properly, Wraith can potentially land a hit on an inattentive Survivor at a generator before they even have the chance to realize he is there. He could even land a snatch off of a generator and get a free down if played well enough. For this reason, Coxclombed Clapper is another excellent add-on.
9. Thinking about running the Sloppy Butcher perk on Wraith, but not sure which perk to replace it with? You could instead run this add-on, which retains the Mangled status effect and dishes this status out to Survivors hit by surprise attacks. What is it?

Answer: "Blind Warrior" - White

This add-on pairs hand-in-glove with the Nurse's Calling perk and Wraith's excellent cloaked mobility, letting him become an amazing tracker. It can only activate on surprise hits, though.
10. Many Killers in this game have 115% movement speed of the Survivors. Not factoring in perks or add-ons, does Wraith consistently have 115% movement speed?

Answer: No

Wraith has historically had this status. However, in April of 2021, he was buffed and made to move even faster while cloaked. Thus, a good portion of the game, he will move even faster than 115% of the Survivors. Unfortunately, since he must uncloak to hit them, he will move at 115% at that point.

He does get a speed burst immediately after uncloaking, but this burst does not last very long.
