Warlocks may select the Voidwalker subclass, enabling them to harness Void energy in their arsenal of attacks. The Voidwalker Super Ability, Nova Bomb, launches a purple projectile of Void energy from the player's hands and obliterates all enemies in the bomb's trajectory. Nova Bomb may be modified to do one of three things: deal more damage as it proceeds further on its path, continue damaging enemies in a vortex it traps them in, or split into multiple projectiles.

The Titan's Striker subclass showcases the juggernaut's ruthless close-range melee prowess with its Arc-powered attacks. The Super Ability, Fist of Havoc, allows a Titan to jump from a considerable distance and leave a field of blue Arc energy within a small radius surrounding the ground where he lands. And this particular ability, Shoulder Charge, adds another deadly threat to the Titan's close-range combat that doesn't require any charging time in between uses.

The Hunter's Void subclass, Nightstalker, allows a player to use the Super Ability Shadowshot to tether enemies together and slow them down to make them easy, more penetrable targets. The ability is particularly effective if multiple enemies need containing at one time.

Hunter's Gunslinger subclass has the Golden Gun Super Ability. Using Golden Gun causes a Hunter's primary weapon to become both more accurate and more deadly with each shot. The Super Ability may be modified to cause all the enemies it hits to explode and damage other nearby foes - yet another ability that proves ultimately more useful with more enemies in the vicinity.

Hammer of Sol, the Super Ability in the Titan's Sunbreaker subclass, is a Super Ability that features the Titan running amok throwing flaming hammers that annihilate anyone unfortunate enough to be in their vicinity at the time. The hammers are capable of penetrating otherwise safeguarding shields.

The Warlock's Solar subclass allows a player to unlock the Super Ability Radiance, which grants the unique capability to resurrect oneself after dying if the Super Ability is fully charged (i.e. available to use) at the time of death. All incoming damage is reduced when a Warlock uses this ability. Radiance also reduces the time it takes for all allies in the area to replenish rechargeable attack abilities.

Rather than enhancing one's jumping ability with glide or adding an extra jump with enhancements, Hunters and Warlocks may both use Blink in the midst of a jump to teleport a short distance in the direction a player is moving at the time the button to Blink is pressed. Hunters can access Blink in the Bladedancer subclass and Warlocks can use Blink as Voidwalkers.

The Defender subclass is unique in providing a Super Ability that offers a protective shield. Titan's use Void energy to create a dome-shaped bubble that protects all allies (and themselves) from enemy onslaught. The effects of the shield can be set up to offer more protection against incoming damage or to enhance the attack power of any weapons players who enter or pass through the Ward of Dawn.

Like the Titan's Arc subclass, the Hunter's Bladedancer focuses on close-ranged combat in the abilities and modifications it grants a player. The Bladedancer Super Ability of Arc Blade lets the Hunter execute a deadly dance with knives in both hands powered by electric Arc energy for several seconds, cutting down everything in close range.

The Warlock who chooses the Arc-powered subclass Stormcaller commands lightning at his or her fingertips with the Super Ability Stormtrance. The Warlock roams around seemingly levitating off the ground while Stormtrance is in use, and Arc lightning shooting from the fingers vanquishes nearby enemies.
