Answer: Dark Slayer

Only Vergil was able to use Dark Slayer style in "Devil May Cry 3" special edition. Dante was was able to use Trickster, Swordmaster, Gunslinger, Royal Guard, Quicksilver, and Doppleganger.

2. When Nero heads toward Fortuna Castle, there is a blizzard that seemingly comes from nowhere. What ultimately ends up being the source of this blizzard?

Answer: Bael

Dagon, if you selected him, is what was causing the ice on Dante's playthrough. The two dancing woman are attached to Bael, not an entity all by themselves. Frosts are the first enemies that you see in this blizzard. Nice cut scene, basically an HD version of the first "Devil May Cry" in mission 17.

Answer: Thirty-two

These fragments are spread throughout the game. Some are obviously easier to find than others. Some of the secret missions were fairly challenging as well, to find and complete in some cases. The other six FULL blue orbs can be purchased at divinity statues or before the start of a mission.

Credo is actually Nero's superior in the "order of the sword". He would be somewhat like a father figure, but isn't blood related to him.

Spoiler....Trish actually ends up being Gloria, but that isn't revealed until after mission 10. Lucia isn't even in this game.

Answer: Two

The initial battle in mission 1 and the battle during mission 10. You have to fight him once in Bloody Palace as well, but that's obviously not in story mode.

Answer: Nero Must Die!

Dante Must Die! is the most difficult setting for all "Devil may Cry" games. Even though Nero is the main character, they didn't change the name of this setting. Son of Sparda is hard mode. Hell and Hell, the enemies are on hard difficulty, but you die in one hit. Heaven or Hell, both you AND the enemies die in one hit.

8. During the first series of cutscenes on mission 1, Nero INITIALLY defeats Dante.

Answer: True

It appeared that way in the teaser trailers before the game was released, as well as the first mission where Nero seemingly pummels him into oblivion and impales him with his own sword. As the game progressed though, Dante's power proved to FAR exceed Nero's.

Answer: Sparda

Sanctus, the leader of "The Order of the Sword" refers to this when Credo was questioning whether she could be trusted. He replied, "She once brought us the sword Sparda".

He killed Sanctus and Bael. The rest of the bosses had to be mopped up by Dante.
