Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Survivors load into a game and immediately are beset with an objective. What is the first thing they must do?

Answer: Locate pieces of a map

The team will eventually need to find and retrieve the Kandarian Dagger and Lost pages of the Necronomicon. In order to figure out where they are, Professor Raymond Knowby has hidden pieces of a map around the area in random places. They aren't too far from one another, but are otherwise completely random.
2. As the Survivors begin the game knowing what they're doing, the Kandarian Demon will also hit the field with a clear objective in mind. What is the Demon's goal?

Answer: Kill the Survivors

Plain and simple, the Demon's goal will remain a win condition for the entirety of the game. The only time this even slightly changes is once the Dark Ones are defeated, but even then, killing all four Survivors will still result in victory for the Demon.
3. Once the Survivor team's first objective is finished, they have more to do. What must they do now?

Answer: Acquire the Kandarian Dagger and Lost Pages

From the beginning of the game, it's actually possible and may even be beneficial to figure out where the Dark Ones are, as they never relocate at anypoint. Unfortunately, however, until the Dagger and Lost Pages are retrieved, the Survivors cannot actually do anything to the Dark Ones, so approaching them will be pointless.

Once the map is put together, the game will display the locations of both the Kandarian Dagger and Lost Pages. The team must go to these areas, where they'll need to activate an event and remain within a small blue circle for a moderate period of time until they're both claimed.
4. Right from the get-go, the Kandarian Demon player is heavily encouraged to begin increasing their own Threat Level. Which of the following is one of the benefits to doing this?

Answer: Survivor fear levels will rise higher the more Threat Level the Demon has

The higher the Demon's Threat Level, the easier it will be to increase fear levels on the Survivors and, subsequently, the easier it will be to hinder the team by possessing their teammates. The Demon can increase their Threat Level by setting traps, possessing Survivors, damaging Survivors, downing Survivors and causing them to trigger manually placed traps.
5. With their first two objectives complete, the Survivors will now be properly geared to really go get their hands dirty. What is their third objective?

Answer: Destroy the Dark Ones

With the Dagger in hand, the Survivors can now finally damage the Dark Ones. They'll need to get in close, then use the Dagger to progressively deplete their health until they're dead. The Dark Ones will respond by shooting Survivors with fireballs and, after losing 1/3rd of their health, will occasionally cause an AoE tremor.

The Dark Ones will also almost certainly be receiving support from the Demon player, which figures to complicate things further.
6. Before long, the Demon player will want to search for Survivors so they can try and pester them. Survivors could potentially be tricky to pin down, but there are a few ways the Demon can locate them. Which of the following will directly display the location of a Survivor to the Demon?

Answer: A Survivor drives a car

Either by driving cars, shooting guns or allowing their fear levels to get too high will reveal the Survivor's location to the Demon player. The latter is especially dangerous, as the Demon can very simply arrive and possess that Survivor if they don't address it very, very quickly.
7. The very last thing the Survivors must do, what is their final objective to finish in order to win the game?

Answer: Banish the Demon using the Necronomicon

This is a simple 'hold your ground and defend' type mini game, where for the first time, it's the Survivors who are on the defensive. The Demon player has two minutes to destroy the Necronomicon. If they succeed, they win the game. If two minutes pass and it isn't destroyed, the Survivors win the game. Alternatively, the Demon player can still win the game by killing all four Survivors.

This creates some interesting strategic moments for both sides. It may be a good idea for the Survivors to have a teammate venture far away from the Necronomicon, which could potentially remove killing all four as a viable win condition for the Demon. On the other hand, this would make it tougher to defend the Necronomicon.

This dilemma also extends to the Demon- should I focus my efforts on destroying the Necronomicon or killing all four Survivors? If a few members of the team are noticeably low on health, the latter may be their best best, while the former could be best if everyone is healthy and/or shielded by Amulets.
8. Uh oh, it's the big bad come to pay the Survivors a visit! Each Demon type has a singular powerful unit, having much more health than others as well as typically dealing more damage and having a massive balance bar. What are these types of units called?

Answer: Bosses

The Warlord gets Henrietta, the Necromancer uses Evil Ash, and Eligos is the boss for the Puppeteer Demon. All of them have vastly different play styles and statbuilds, thus requiring unique approaches to dealing with them from the Survivors.
9. Possession is a majorly important mechanic that both sides must pay careful attention to. Which of the following can the Demon player use possession on?

Answer: Basic Deadites

If the Demon decides to extend their possession efforts to a basic or an elite Deadite, that Deadite will gain a significant boost to their hit points, balance bar and will also deal much more damage than a non-possessed iteration. The Demon can also opt to possess certain trees to deal damage and raise the fear levels of nearby Survivors. If a Survivor allows their fear levels to get too high, the Demon may opt to possess them and force them to deal major damage to their former teammates for a brief period of time. Finally, the Demon will be forced to possess their boss unit in order to use them.
10. The Demon gets stronger mostly by simply playing the game, leveling up and applying these level ups as they go. For Survivors to level up, they'll need to locate a specific item. What is this?

Answer: Pink Fs

Pink Fs can only be found in Supply Crates. The amount found in each crate is dependent on the quality of the crate. Each Survivor can level up a maximum of 20 times.
