Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Warlord is mainly based around disrupting Survivor actions and being as tanky and resilient as possible. Who is the boss unit for Warlord?

Answer: Henrietta

When entering, Henrietta will giggle loudly and taunt the Survivors before the Demon player can begin controlling her. She is noteworthy for having the most HP out of the three Demon classes. Her balance bar is also the highest, though she doesn't have a way to heal like Evil Ash nor generate Infernal Energy like Eligos, meaning the player must be efficient with her in combat to get the most out of her tankiness.
2. The Necromancer is a class who commands legions of undead, including their own slain skeletons. Capable of resurrecting the fallen, who is the boss unit for the Necromancer?

Answer: Evil Ash

When entering, Evil Ash will loudly erupt with evil laughter and sinisterly remark "I'm coming for you" before the player can begin using him.

Evil Ash has the ability to resurrect any skeletons which have recently died within a moderate distance of his position. He can also use Infernal Invigoration to heal himself. As well, the Necromancer's Flautist can buff his damage output to truly scary heights, and he naturally has the ability to pressure Survivors who attempt to kill the Flautist. Finally, Evil Ash is unique amongst his brethren for being the only Demon unit in the game capable of dodging like a Survivor would. Given that he can also heal himself and gain a large support network via resurrection, it's very easy for Evil Ash to stick around for a long time and cause the Survivors a lot of problems in the process.
3. With blazing speed that makes the Puppeteer's units difficult to pin down, it's fitting that they'd have a boss unit who encapsulates this philosophy. Who is the Puppeteer's boss unit?

Answer: Eligos

Eligos may have the shortest HP bar of his contemporaries, but he makes up for it and then some with his blazing speed. When not attacking, Eligos is also completely invisible, making him a natural candidate for a hit and run strategy to compensate for his frailty. He's no slouch offensively, with an extremely fast light attack that can rip off enormous amounts of health very quickly and has a deadly tendency to simply stunlock a Survivor straight to death. Finally, Eligos has a massive AoE lightning attack that hits very hard, covers a wide radius, and serves as a helpful tool to force melee Survivors off of him, which can help him slip back into the shadows until he's ready to strike again.

Uniquely, where Henrietta and Evil Ash are very loud upon entry, Eligos does not make any distinguishable sound upon being deployed. As such, if Survivors do not physically see him enter play, he could easily take a stealthy approach and surprise them, which could lead to a fast kill.
4. To build up fear and stifle Survivor looting efforts, a clever player may decide to trap a Supply Crate. They can trap it with either Mini Ashes or the Evil Hand. Both will greatly raise the fear of their victims. Other than that, what do the Mini Ashes do that the Evil Hand doesn't?

Answer: Steal

The Mini Ashes will steal a random item at a random quantity from the player's inventory. This could either be as useless as stealing unneeded ammunition, or it could be quite crippling taking away a Shemp's Cola, Amulet or ammo from a gun that the Survivor was using.
5. If the Mini Ashes aren't to the player's liking, perhaps the Evil Hand would be. Other than raise the fear of its victim, what will the Evil Hand do that the Mini Ashes do not?

Answer: Deal damage

It doesn't deal a ton of damage, but the Evil Hand will damage the Survivor it manages to trap. Where the Mini Ashes are boom-or-bust, stealing either crucial supplies or useless unneeded ones, the Evil Hand's benefit is less broadly useful but consistent, being always of at least slight use.
6. The player may notice the Survivors grouping up in a car. They may decide to try and steal the car via possession. They'll have to be careful though, because doing this action would cause the player to immediately lose control of the car and allow the Survivors to easily get back in it. What will immediately force the player out of the car?

Answer: Hitting a Survivor

Hitting a Survivor will do barely any damage and will immediately force the player out. As such, though causing any damage at all might seem beneficial, it takes a lot of Infernal Energy to possess a car, so if it's going to be done, it should be done for a long time, long enough to at least drive it far away from the Survivors and make accessing it again dangerous or at least awkward.
7. When Survivors are fighting AI controlled units, depleting their balance bats allows for either a special attack or a finisher. This is different when it's a possessed unit. When a possessed unit's balance bar is depleted, what happens?

Answer: The player cannot act

Whether it be a boss, elite or basic unit, a possessed unit without a balance bar cannot act for several seconds until it regenerates. If it's a boss unit, the player will probably be able to survive this downtime and be able to do more damage. Otherwise, the player is advised to abandon the unit, as they are highly unlikely to survive long enough to regain their balance bar. Even on the off chance they did, they'd probably have such a small amount of health left they'd be easy pickings.

As well, it costs Infernal Energy to remain possessing a unit, and spending this for no gain would be very bad.
8. The Warlord's ability is known as Bad Influence. It's a deadly ability that makes their units much, much stronger. What is one of the things Bad Influence does?

Answer: Grants invincibility to all nearby balance bars

Warlord units are very tanky and hit quite hard. When their balance bars cannot be damaged, they cannot have special attacks or finishers performed to deny them the ability to attack, and this makes them very deadly. It also helps ensure Henrietta can make the most of her enormous healthpool.
9. The Necromancer's ability is known as War Cry. When deployed, it uniquely spawns a unit known as the Flautist who will proceed to buff every allied unit within a generous range. What will this buff do?

Answer: Boost damage output and damage resistance

Under the effects of the Flautist, the Necromancer's units become scary to deal with. This extends to the man himself, Evil Ash, who can also resurrect these soon-to-be buffed skeletons and create a bad situation for the Survivors quickly. However, the Flautist cannot fight or move nor be possessed, and it has virtually no health meaning it can be easily destroyed.

As such, the player must be very careful where they choose to deploy it- endeavoring to hide it or at least make it as inconvenient as possible to go and kill.
10. The Puppeteer's ability, Power Possession, is well suited to a player who enjoys being aggressive and constantly involved in direct combat. What does it do?

Answer: Increase the duration they can possess a unit

When a player possesses a unit regardless of which class they chose, they'll slowly lose Infernal Energy. When they run out completely, they'll be forced to drop their possessed unit. When activating Power Possession, the player will regain Infernal Energy every time they deal damage to a Survivor, with the exception of having possessed a Survivor.

In theory, this means that an aggressive Puppeteer who is constantly getting in hits could retain possession of a unit forever, or at least unit it runs out of HP.
