Eirika's strength is a little bit low to start with, but she has the rapier which makes up for this! Eirika's affinity is Light.

2. What is Ross's skill when you first get him?

Answer: 2

Skill is important because it increases your chance to hit. For every skill point you have, your hit percent goes up by 2.

3. What is Lute's magic when you first get her?

Answer: 6

Lute is a mage, so she doesn't have strength. She uses magic which works in exactly the same say, but is used with staves and tomes.

Speed affects your dodging ability and your ability to strike twice. For every point of speed you have, your dodge goes up by 2. Luck makes dodge go up by 1.

You would find an enemy with this kind of accuracy fairly near the beginning. You should refer to the weapon triangle to lower the chance of being hit.

Because of her high magic percentage, Lute is arguably the best mage in the game. However, her skill percentage is only 30%, so it could be lower when you arrive at the later stages of the game.
