Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. John doesn't get his title "The Brawler" for nothing. His ability helps him back that distinction up big time. What does it do?

Answer: Give him infinite stamina

John's only real issue in close quarters is that his harder hitting attacks consume a lot of stamina. His ability renders that a non problem for fifteen seconds, letting him go wild with few repercussions. This can make him an immensely deadly threat, capable of blasting through many enemies during its short duration.
2. Tooke the Mystic is no slouch in the bodybuilding department, but John can one up him, as well as Marianne and Robin, with one true test of mettle that the others are incapable of passing. Which of the following can John lift that the aforementioned three cannot?

Answer: A portcullis

John is capable of forcing open an entire portcullis with his incredible strength. This can make traversing through the map much easier than it would've otherwise been, as he can hold it open for his allies to pass through, then close it behind him. Notably, there is a Playstation trophy titled "Hold the Gate!" associated with this very feat. To earn it, the John player must hold open a portcullis while a player carrying the treasure chest passes through the opening.
3. John's weapon of choice is relatively simplistic, but still incredibly deadly. What is it?

Answer: A greathammer

John's large hammer deals tons of damage, capable of felling anybody other than the Sheriff in two swift blows at the most.
4. Despite his vast strength and powerful blows, attempting to take down the Sheriff is something John is arguably the worst at. Why is that?

Answer: Lack of range

As the Sheriff cannot be assassinated, that answer was wrong. He may not be immune to melee damage, but it takes many, many blows to dispatch him. John's ability also is not too helpful, as it does not stop the Sheriff from killing John in one hit, and makes it so that the player will have wasted their ability.

Tooke can contend with the Sheriff by keeping him at bay with his lengthy flail, and playing a hit-and-run type strategy to potentially defeat him. Robin can utilize his ability to deal tremendous damage, and can then gun down the Sheriff from a safe distance away with his bow.

Marianne is mostly useless trying to take out the Sheriff, but because of his poor range, so is John. At most, John would get off a single hit against the Sheriff, which would do little damage, and he would then be right in the Sheriff's face- too close to avoid the Sheriff retaliating with a single lethal blow.
5. Much like Tooke and unlike Robin and Marianne, John does not have a dodge. He has a blocking action that can be used to avoid damage. What is the difference between John and Tooke's block actions?

Answer: John's uses less stamina

Both are capable of parrying if they block at the exact moment the attack would strike them. However, John's block uses less stamina than Tooke's, affording him to make use of his beefy healthpool to stick around in the fight longer.
6. This perk is a godsend for John players who like using his dashing strong attack, as this perk will make this maneuver an assured one hit kill against Robin and Marianne, making the effort of rushing them down worth it. What perk is this?

Answer: Surging Strike

As the question states, this perk makes John's dashing strong attack hit much harder. Robin and Marianne, regardless of their perks, are dead in but a single hit if a John uses this perk against them and delivers a direct hit. Enemy Tooke players also must be basically completely full on health, or they too will suffer the same fate.
7. John's grenade fits him well. What does it do when deployed?

Answer: Kills anyone caught in the blast

Anyone not named the Sheriff will die if caught in the blast. It can also damage the player who deployed it, so watch where you're throwing it!
8. Want to play your John as more of a damage sponge, taking hits for your squishier teammates? This perk, which increases his healthpool, is just for you. What is it?

Answer: Stable Tank

Put simply, this perk increases both John's maximum health and his stamina. This lets him stick around just a bit longer, which could make a big difference in the right moments.
9. Just when you think you've got things under control facing an enemy John, and you've managed to deplete about 80% of his health, he proves you wrong and starts dealing much more damage seemingly out of nowhere. It's not because the player is a hacker, but rather because they've given him a perk that increases his damage output when at low health. What is this?

Answer: Dying Retaliation

Dying Retaliation causes John's damage output to increase significantly when he is at low health. Here, he can start to do incredible things, like kill Marianne or Robin with a single light attack, or Tooke with a heavy attack if he also had the Surging Strike perk. Thus, the job must be finished before you are!
10. If you'd like to grant a boost to John's light attacks and don't mind a reduction to his assassination speed, this perk would be for you. What is it?

Answer: Enraged Infusion

Enraged Infusion is good for fighting a swath of enemies at once, as it allows John to conserve stamina easier by falling back on his amplified light attacks. John is meant to be played aggressively for the most part, and as such, won't be landing totoo many assassinations anyway.
