Twenty years after the Cordyceps fungus has destroyed a large chunk of civilisation, Joel must escort Ellie across a USA clogged with both hostile humans and the infected. You see, Ellie is immune and there are people at the other side of the nation (why are they always on the other side) who may be able to use Ellie's blood to create a cure.

"Dead Head Fred" is a horror comedy video game for PlayStation Portables, which was published in 2007. Fred is a private investigator who has been killed and had his head removed. Now he is out to get his killer but there are so many enemies that get in his way and he has to do away with them. Once he does, he removes their heads and places it on his own shoulders (really! Who dreams up this stuff?) and this also enables him to utilise any powers that his previous victim may have had.

Released in 2010, this is a western style adventure game and it is the second within the "Red Dead" series. Set in 1911, John Marston is a former outlaw. Agents Ross and Fordham, from the Bureau of Investigation, rip him away from his family and they offer him an amnesty on the proviso that he tracks down his old gang and brings them to justice.

This is a 2010 video game, published by Activision, that uses characters from the Marvel Comic Universe. Spiderman and Mysterio are slugging it out and, in the process, they shatter the Tablet of Order and Chaos, which causes all sorts of problems throughout the Marvel Universe. Madame Web is looking to restore the universe back into balance but finds that she cannot do this on her own.

She turns to Spider-Man for help, but not just one Spider-Man, she seeks out four Spider-Men from four different realities.

A mystery stealth video game published by Square Enix in 2014. Ronan is a detective who has been killed by someone known as the "Bell Killer". He returns as a ghost, knowing that he cannot rest in peace and be alongside his long-dead wife (Julia) until he solves the mystery of the "Bell Killer" and brings him to justice.

Answer: Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal

"Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal" (2014) is an action adventure video game by Sega for its Nintendo 3DS platform. Lyric is an evil snake-like cyborg who once used a mystical crystal to try and take over the world. His plans go awry, and he is captured by the other Ancients and they place him into stasis and shatter the crystal. Jump to the "now" and Lyric has escaped his bonds and is now trying to regather the broken shards of the crystal with the aim of finishing off his initial mission.
