Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. One of the biggest differences between this game and its predecessors is that what were referred to as "Palaces" in the last game now have a different name. What is the new nickname for the various domains in the Metaverse that the Phantom Thieves trek through here?

Answer: Jails

They're called 'Jails' because the ruler of then, the 'Monarchs' were installed as rulers against their will and confined there, thus giving reason for them to be 'Jails'. This becomes a growing theme throughout the story.
2. The first map's boss is the beauty model driven mad, Alice Hiiragi! Nearly every boss in this game has at least one weakness to exploit, oftentimes two. Alice the Mad Rabbit, the forme her shadow takes on, happens to have two! What are they?

Answer: Fire and Wind

Because of this, taking Panther (Ann Takamaki) and Mona (Morgan's) is recommended. It would also be a good idea to outfit Joker with Fire or Wind as well. Alice is immune to Psychokinetic and frequently dishes out her own strong Psychokinetic attacks as well, so taking Haru or Makoto into the fight is a bad idea.
3. The second boss of the game, Ango Natsume, takes on the mighty appearance of the fearsome Nightmare Dragon when confronted in battle. He also has two weaknesses. What are they?

Answer: Ice and Bless

Because of this, having Fox (Yusuke Kitagawa) and Sophie (Sophia) for the fight would be a good idea. Natsume is immune to Curse and resistant to Fire and Electric in this forme, so Ann and Ryuji are not good ideas unless you plan to use them for their buff/debuff powers.
4. Mariko Hyodo's gluttony knows no bounds, as her Snow Empress forme is quite formidable when confronted in battle. What is she weak to?

Answer: Psychokinetic and Curse

Haru is a good choice for this battle, as she can readily exploit the Snow Empress' Psychokinetic weakness. For the Curse weakness, Joker will have to take up the mantle of exploiting that. It should be quite obvious that a Jail full of harshly cold conditions would yield a boss based around Ice powers.

While that doesn't give her a weakness to Fire for some reason, it predictably means she will be healed if targeted by an Ice power, so Yusuke makes for a particularly poor partner for that reason.
5. A doppelgänger clone of Joker is next on the docket within the Kyoto Jail. What is the fake Joker weak to?

Answer: Nothing

The fake Joker has no weaknesses, resistances or immunities to speak of, so he can be freely targeted by anything. That, of course, does mean he can't be exploited anywhere near as hard as the previous bosses were, though.
6. Akira Konoe is next on tap as a boss, and his massive robot is no joke! When the robot is destroyed, he is not finished either, wielding a lightsaber lookalike and being quite aggressive. What are his weaknesses, which can be used to stem the tide of the battle?

Answer: Nuke and Lightning

Queen (Makoto Nijiima) and Skull (Ryuji Sakamoto) make for good picks for this boss fight because they can take advantage of Konoe's two weaknesses. Konoe is immune to Wind, Psychokinetic, Bless and Curse however, so the player must be quite selective to take him down efficiently.
7. Our final boss, the Demiurge, rather surprisingly has two weaknesses. What are they?

Answer: Curse and Bless

Sophia is a crucial companion to have whenever fighting the Demiurge. Joker would be important as well of course, but even more so here as he is the only Phantom Thief capable of learning a Curse skill in the game. Considering how much SP is needed to win the fight, utilizing both in tandem effectively and efficiently is crucial.
8. A new Phantom Thief enters the fray. Which major character of the following awakens to a Persona, and at a fairly opportune time?

Answer: Zenkichi Hasegawa

With the other Thieves being held captive, Zenkichi confronts the shadow of his daughter, Akane, and tries to talk her down from her angry, aggressive state. This doesn't work at the moment, but with his allies in grave danger, Zenkichi makes the ultimate decision to actually set out and pursue justice, even at the expense of his profession or anything else.

He decides to break free from the shackles of 'the rules' which have held him back from as much, and as he does so, his rebel spirit is invoked and he awakens to a Persona, Valjean.
9. What is the new Phantom Thief's code name?

Answer: Wolf

Wolf's Persona, Valjean, gives him access to a number of very helpful buff and debuff tools. For offensive options, Wolf can provide the use of Almighty, Gun and Physical attacks which are all quite strong. He may not have any resistances, but he is also not weak to anything. Combined with his large base HP, and he is built to last for awhile.
10. The last time the Phantom Thieves send a Calling Card is important, as it sets the stage for the final battle. Who do they address it to?

Answer: The general public

With the desires of the masses being stolen, the Phantom Thieves find they are unable to retake them from the Demiurge immediately. This is because the physical formes of these masses haven't materialized in the Metaverse. Sending a Calling Card to the Demiurge would prove ineffective, as the Demiurge's AI is advanced enough to have foreseen it, thus minimizing the impact a Calling Card would typically have. Thus, to make the general public aware of their stolen masses, the Phantom Thieves decide to hack EMMA and broadcast their Calling Card to the public that way.
