Michael and co-protagonist Franklin Clinton had pulled down a hillside stilt house whom Michael thought belonged to an adulterous tennis coach.

The house actually belonged to a woman with a relationship with Martin. An angered Martin tracks Michael to his house and threatens repercussions if Michael does not pay him back for the damaged home. 2. The Merryweather Heist

Answer: Story Mode

The Merryweather Heist is the second heist mission of "GTA V's" story mode. In the game, Merryweather is a private military organization that operates as mercenaries for hire. The game's third protagonist, Trevor Philips, develops plans for the heist soon after arriving in Los Santos as he suspects that Merryweather is preparing to take possession of a classified item, which he intends to steal for the benefit of his own organization. Trevor plans the heist from Floyd and Debra's apartment in Vespucci Beach.

The Merryweather Heist involves all three protagonists and results in no payout since Trevor is forced to get rid of the device immediately after the heist is completed.
3. The Paleto Score

Answer: Story Mode

The Paleto Score is a story mode heist that is arranged in order to obtain the money needed to fund a later mission. With the help of Lester, the three protagonists are set up to rob Blaine County Savings Bank which is located in the town of Paleto Bay on the north side of San Andreas.

In addition to the protagonists, there are several NPC's that can be recruited to assist during the heist missions, who can either help or hinder the heists depending on their skill level. One of these NPC's is Packie McCreary, who previously appeared in "Grand Theft Auto IV".

He can be unlocked if he's helped during a random encounter with Franklin.
4. The Bureau Raid

Answer: Story Mode

The Bureau Raid is a story mode heist that is commissioned by FIB agents Steve Haines and Dave Norton. Steve makes a promise to Michael that his criminal record will be wiped clean if he and Franklin help him destroy evidence that threatens to expose Steve's corruption.

This heist involves sending the Michael, Franklin and several NPC's over to FIB Headquarters in order to destroy the evidence. Trevor is unavailable for this mission due to storyline reasons. Once again, Lester helps prepare the protagonists for the heist. Each heist in story mode has several approach options, which encourages players to replay them using an alternate method.
5. The Big Score

Answer: Story Mode

The Big Score is the final story mode heist in "Grand Theft Auto V". It involves all three protagonists, again with the help of Lester, robbing the Union Depository, which is the largest bank in the city of Los Santos and has bars of gold tucked away in its vaults just waiting to be stolen. If it is planned well, The Big Score can potentially net each protagonist over $40,000,000.

The Big Score is also the penultimate main story mission of the game. After completing The Big Score, the player will have the choice of completing one of three finale missions.
6. The Fleeca Job

Answer: Online

The Fleeca Job was the first of five heist missions introduced to the online mode of "GTA V" in 2015. The heist is headed by Lester Crest and is one of the simplest heists in the game as its seen as a warm-up for the other four heists. The Fleeca Job only requires two players to complete, while the others require four players.

In The Fleeca Job, the players are tasked with robbing a small Fleeca Bank along the Great Ocean Highway. To prep for the heist, they need to scout out the bank's security features and steal an armored car to be used as the getaway vehicle.

In the main event, one player is tasked with controlling the hostages, while the other drills into the vault.
7. The Prison Break

Answer: Online

The Prison Break was also released in 2015 with the first wave of heist missions in "GTA Online". The other three heists were The Pacific Standard, Series A Funding and The Humane Labs Raid. In order to launch their own heists, a player is required to purchase either a high-end apartment or stilt house.

In The Prison Break, four players are hired by Agent 14 to spring a man named Maxim Rashkovsky from Bolingbroke Penitentiary. Two players are tasked with infiltrating the prison disguised as guards, one player is tasked with demolitions and another player is tasked with the role of pilot for the getaway airplane.
8. The Doomsday Heist

Answer: Online

The Doomsday Heist was added to the online version of "Grand Theft Auto V" in 2017. The heist is split into three acts: The Data Breeches, The Bogdan Problem and The Doomsday Scenario. This heist is again headed by Lester Crest as well as a billionaire named Avon Hertz. Each act in The Doomsday Heist must be completed with at least two players and each have their own payout. Also, players who wish to lead their own Doomsday Heist will have to purchase an underground facility.

The Doomsday Heist introduced several weaponized vehicles to online mode, such as the Deluxo, which was inspired by the flying DeLorean from "Back to The Future Part II".
9. The Diamond Casino Heist

Answer: Online

The Diamond Casino Heist was added to "GTA Online" in 2019. Lester again is the mastermind for this heist. He and the players are hired by a Triad gang to rob the Diamond Casino, which is owned by an energy tycoon from Texas. The heist requires at least two players and forces the leader to plan different approaches in every subsequent playthrough.

In order to launch The Diamond Casino Heist, a player needs to purchase a video arcade, which is used as a front to hide the criminal operation being planned beneath it.
10. The Cayo Perico Heist

Answer: Online

The Cayo Perico Heist was added to "GTA Online" in 2020. Cayo Perico is a private island owned by a blond haired Colombian drug lord named Juan "El Rubio" Strickler. The heist is initially set up by Miguel Madrazo (Martin's son), who hires the online character to steal sensitive documents from El Rubio's compound.

In order to launch The Cayo Perico Heist, the player needs to purchase a submarine named the Kosatka. The Kosatka is run by a Russian sailor named Pavel, who helps to guide the player through the heist. Subsequent playthroughs of this heist will have a different item available to steal from El Rubio. Unlike the previous online heists, this one can be completed solo.
