Zero is a Hero Trivia Quiz

Zero first appears during the intro stage of "Mega Man X". X encounters Vile in his ride armor and is quickly defeated. Zero rushes in to save X and drives off Vile.

Zero faces off with Vile again in the first Sigma stage, but is captured and placed in an energy cell. X arrives and fights Vile, but winds up being paralyzed. Zero breaks out of his cell and sacrifices himself to destroy Vile's ride armor, freeing X and allowing him to finally defeat Vile.

He gives his arm cannon to X which gives X a stronger charge shot as well as the ability to charge maverick weapons.

After two Mavericks are defeated, the three X-Hunters (Agile, Violen and Serges) will randomly appear in the remaining Maverick stages. If X fails to defeat all of the X-Hunters before Sigma's fortress, he will have to fight Zero.

Answer: Zero has only one life

Zero becomes playable in "Mega Man X3", but with restrictions. He can not be used more than once per stage, he can not fight mavericks/bosses and only has one life. If Zero dies the game's ending will be changed.

Answer: Iris

Iris is the sister of Colonel, second-in-command of the Repliforce. Iris developed feelings for Zero, but chose to fight Zero after he killed Colonel. Zero unintentionally killed Iris and is overwhelmed by guilt as a result.

After the final battle, if Zero has not gone maverick both X and Zero will fight Sigma. Zero is gravely injured at the end. X picks up Zero's mutilated body when Sigma takes a final shot at them, blowing a hole in both X and Zero. Zero kills Sigma as his body falls to the ground. X is repaired shortly after.

The Nightmare virus is turning reploids into Mavericks. It is a virus designed to represent a purple colored Zero. It was created by Gate using parts from Zero's body.

In "Mega Man X7", X attempts to go into retirement. Axl, a former member of Red Alert, joins forces with Zero against his former group. X returns to active status later in the game.

The "Mega Man Zero" series is a spinoff of "Mega Man X". Zero is awakened after a 100-year stasis. In this series Mega Man X becomes the antagonist. X is the mastermind behind the slaughter of innocent reploids.

Answer: Dr. Wily

Dr. Wily, the main antagonist of the original "Mega Man" series, built Zero to combat Mega Man and Bass. He sealed Zero away for being too violent and unpredictable. In the opening scene of "Mega Man X4", Zero has a nightmare and sees a silhouette of Dr. Wily speaking to him.
