Answer: Taris

Taris is the first world you get to explore. After the Endar Spire is destroyed above the planet, you will use an escape pod to escape. The Sith will then put the entire planet under quarantine in order to make sure Bastila and any surviving Republic forces do not escape.

Answer: Dantooine

The Jedi Academy in "Knights of the Old Republic" is located on Dantooine. There is the main academy on Coruscant, but it is not featured in this game. Dantooine is the planet you travel to once you've escaped Taris. Here, you change your class to be a Jedi, and get your lightsaber. You are not allowed to leave Dantooine until you have found your first Star Map.

Answer: Kashyyyk

Kashyyyk is covered in kilometer tall wroshyr trees in which the native Wookiees built their cities. The Shadowands are the forest floor where large and dangerous creatures lurk. It is so far down that sunlight cannot actually hit the bottom, and it is rendered eternally dark. Wookiees go down to the Shadowlands during rites of passage, and other rituals.

Answer: Tatooine

Calo Nord was a bounty hunter, first seen on Taris as a cool, lethal, but short man, with no time for words. You fight him as you are stealing the Ebon Hawk from Davik Kang, but he is crushed under debris when the Sith start their bombardment of the planet.

He survives the attack, and is then hired by the Sith to track you down and kill you. Calo will attack you on one of four worlds: Tatooine, Manaan, Kashyyy, or Korriban, depending on which one you visit first.

Answer: Korriban

Korriban has been the home of the Sith for countless centuries, and in "Knights of the Old Republic" is where the latest academy is set. At the academy, you have to gain prestige so that you may finally be allowed to enter the tomb of Naga Sadow, which houses the Star Map on Korriban.

Answer: Manaan

On Manaan, the Republic and Sith coexist. Manaan maintained neutrality in the war, and sold kolto, a miracle drug, to both sides. Neither side is willing to try to take the planet by force, as it might disrupt the kolto production capabilities, and render the planet useless to both sides.

This does not mean that the Republic and Sith will not try to undermine each other by alternate means. During your stay on Manaan, you are asked by the Republic to infiltrate the Sith embassy to retrieve a Republic probe droid that the Sith recovered.

This will lead to your eventual first arrest on Manaan.

Answer: Tatooine

HK-47 is the only character in the game that can speak Tuskan, the language of the Sand People. If you want to complete the game using the Light Side route, you will have to purchase him in order to communicate with the chieftain of the Sand People. Ironically, HK-47 has a Dark Side alignment and always prefers the more violent and bloody solution to a situation.

Answer: Korriban

Korriban was a world surrounded in the Dark Side of the Force after so many Sith used it as a staging world. There were tombs of ancient Sith masters located on Korriban, making it a perfect place to have an academy. There are four tombs in all, three of which have their own quests that you can complete for prestige, and the fourth, that of Naga Sadow, that houses the Star Map.

Answer: Taris

When you start off in "Knights of the Old Republic" you land on Taris with no money. The dueling ring is one way you can get early level experience and credits. The last person to face you in the dueling ring will be Bendak Starkiller, in a death match. He is one of the possible bounties that you can collect while on Taris.

Answer: The Leviathan

When traveling to the bridge of the Leviathan, there is a portion of the trip that must be made outside in the vacuum of space. You do this in order to avoid a large group of enemies that would otherwise be between you and Saul Karath.
