It says on the 7th line from the top: Roosevelt Gook is a fake name used by Al Kooper when he did not want to get credit for writing piano music.

"Free Bird", sung by Lynyrd Skynyrd, was written by Al Kooper.

Al Kooper aka Roosevelt Gook was an american songwriter, record producer and musician. In 1972 Kooper moved to Atlanta where he discovered the band Lynyrd Skynyrd, and produced and performed on their first three albums, including the single "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Free Bird"

The song was written by Allen Collins and Ronnie Van Sant not Kooper. Kooper played organ and mellotron.
