Slick and her band members reformed the group in 1989, recorded a reunion album, and had a successful tour that year. For health reasons, Slick eventually retired in 1990, but came out of retirement in 1995 to perform at House of Blues and then again in 2001 for a post-911 gig.

1978. They had to cancel a show because of how drunk she was at a concert in Germany. Soon after she quit the band.

The 1978 concert was in Hamburg (Germany) when Slick insulted the audience calling them Nazis and giving "Heil Hitler!" salutes onstage. Following the concert, guitarist Paul Kantner asked Slick to leave the band.
