The "Ken & Mary Tree" is a popular tourist spot named after a 1972 commercial for the Nissan Skyline. The commercial showed a couple named Ken and Mary driving through the picturesque countryside, with the iconic poplar tree in the background. The ad campaign, known as "Ken & Mary Skyline", became hugely popular in Japan, and the tree has since retained the name.
