It just shows it's not as easy to see as it looks, especially when many rarely visit our own countries. But someone has finally mentioned one I have seen, Paul McCartney. So I'll open it up if anyone has also seen someone mentioned already, let us know. One point for a sighting, three for speaking to. You've got to have a system! Normally I would be only too happy to run up to a great person in my path, but when someone ran up to us at school to say Mr Mc. was on the premises, we all went to look and somehow froze to the spot as we watched him pass on his way to the headmistress to enrol Linda's daughter. 35 clipperraider? Now that is impressive. Of course, once you can add a point for seeing me I'll have 'made it' but till then we can just keep on counting the others. If footballers had more mentions I could probably make many more but so could half of British men! I sat opposite Arsene Wenger at a match once but he was indoors and I wasn't so no conversation could take place. Plus he was a floor above me. Hey sat, I live in Southern California, an area that seems to have a higher concentration of "celebrities" and wannabes milling about, so there are ample opportunities at sporting events, concerts, etc. Over the years, I've travelled a bit and have had occupations that have allowed me access to some interesting people, as well. I've seen and talked to (saying "hello" counts, right?)Jay Leno, Pierce Brosnan and Tom Bosley, and seen several others, either in concerts, on Broadway (including the incredible Hugh Jackman!), and in restaurants.
