Ah, one more for me, hanging out in Hampstead is probably only second to Hollywood for big names, and Sting and his wife were eating outside one of the many restaurants there once when I was out shopping in the afternoon. I never bother them when they're busy though as I don't think they'd like to be interrupted when they're relaxing. I find it fascinating that most people want to meet actors. In a long career in both professional and amateur theatre (some it spent simultaneously with a parallel career in advertising), I'm here to tell you that you'd probably be bored to tears within minutes. Too often, actors tend to be self-obsessed and inscure and one can become very tired of the pronoun 'I'. Which isn't to say that all actors are like that - the really good ones are three-dimensional.
