It is fascinating to find out how celebrity both tends to group in countries and then across age groups. I've seen far more many names here I had never seen before but clearly pretty famous where they are. And guess what, I saw Miley Cyrus today for the first time on TV. I only saw a few minutes and didn't understand a thing about it so can anyone here (as there are clearly many experts) tell me whether the man playing her father really is (no I've never seen him before either) and why she uses her real name as her character? I also added to my B list (seen but not spoken to) twice recently, with Donald Sinden and Alexander Armstrong, both pretty big over here but probably unknown outside the UK. Reply #227. Thanks Wayman, I guessed that was true. You can never beat a family business when it comes to acting can you? One more for me- I had tea on the next table from Kate O'Mara while she was working in the theatre, sitting with Ian Lavender from Dad's Army.
