I'm with HazelEyes on Physics, I like the idea of it, but really struggle to get my head round it. Chemistry can be fun and I LOVE the periodic table (!) so overall, for visibility and understanding it has to be biology. Reply #41. Apr 12 12, 11:48 PM |

As noted before, they're all important, and cool in their own ways, but my personal preference is for physics. As a civil engineer, that is what I've mainly applied in my career. I still wouldn't be here without chemistry and biology, though. Reply #42. Apr 15 12, 12:19 AM |

They all have their place in the world, but chemistry to me is the winner...as others have said, nothing tops the periodic table. Reply #43. Apr 15 12, 5:30 PM |

Chemistry. There are aspects to Biology that I enjoy, especially Genetics. I just don't understand most of Physics (mostly because my AP Physics teacher was terrible). There are parts that make sense, like Thermodynamics, speed/velocity/acceleration...but these things I learned in Chem and Math classes that just carried over. I also understand the Physics of building, as in loads on structures (this I learned in my college Structures class for Architects). Chemistry, though, is by far my favorite. I love all aspects of it. It's fun and I find it, for myself, to be incredibly easy to conceptualize and understand. Reply #48. Sep 26 12, 10:59 AM |

Chemistry was fun when we added different chemicals to metal sticks and made fire change color. And it was cool in Biology when we put goldfish under microscopes to watch the blood flow through vessels. Reply #53. Feb 27 13, 8:56 AM |

The word Chemistry brings back so many memories. Many years ago as a small boy, I had a Chemistry set. All those little bottles full of chemicals and instructions how to perform experiments with them. A lot of fun and adventure back then. Reply #55. Mar 02 13, 10:42 AM |
