Are you ready to go on a little bit of an adventure?
Well here at Globetrot Trivia, we’re all going to take a bit of a trivial tour around the planet, stopping off at a number of points of interest and learning a bit more along the way!
For this challenge, a destination will be posted here. Sometimes that destination will be very specific and sometimes it will be very vague, but either way, we’ll need to have two quizzes queued up before we move on to the next location.
Let’s take a hypothetical here. Let’s say our current location is ‘The Great Pyramids of Egypt’. This means we need to queue two quizzes— anyone can submit them— before we continue on. The quizzes can be about they pyramids…or pyramids in general…or Egyptian landmarks…or the 7 Wonders…or mummies…or camels. As long as you can justifiably link the quiz to the locations, it’s good!
Once we make our trip around the world, we’ll return to our starting location.
All you need to do is post when your quiz is submitted, and when there’s two we’ll move along. :)

You always have a fallback there though; the swap is there for a reason this time around! ;) Halfway through my Zambia quiz. Turns out, it's only partly about Zambia, but it did form out of one of those long Wikipedia searches that spun out of control, which is always fun. That is one of the things I love about researching for a quiz which starts with only a vague idea of where I want to go - it brings back memories of hours spent browsing through the family's World Book Encyclopedia in primary school, but more powerful. With Zambia online, I'm queued for Paris. Looks like our next stop is also going to be in Paris. It's the Notre-Dame Cathedral! This building, one of the oldest landmarks in the city, has a rich architectural, religious, and literary history. It's a nearly incomparable building sitting right next to Paris' mile marker zero on l'ile de la cite. And it also makes Paris the first stop on our trip to have two ticks on the itinerary.
