Rebello, a native of Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts landed the part of Michael Brody. Michael was Chief and Ellen Brody's son and he enjoyed the beach at Amity Island. Midway into the movie, Michael was seen in the part of the ocean referred to as the pond and the shark was around there. Ellen told Chief Brody about this so they both immediately ran for Michael. Michael was in a state of shock so his parents took him to the hospital for observation. The doctor examined Michael, said he was fine and released him from the hospital. Rebello's only acting credit was his role as Michael Brody in "Jaws". He passed away on November 30, 2000.

Mayor Vaughn says this after the shark attack in the estuary. He finally realizes that he has to close the beaches and hire Quint to kill the shark. Martin says, "You're the Mayor of Shark City. These people think you want the beaches open."

David, along with Richard Zanuck, produced this 1975 classic. The production was riddled with problems from the beginning. The film went over its initial budget and took longer to shoot then what was originally anticipated. One incident that occurred was a photographer snuck on where the mechanical shark was been kept and snapped a picture. The photographer took a picture of the side of the shark that wasn't enclosed. You could see all the mechanical parts. The photograph was published in an issue of "Time" magazine. The producers and Steven were upset about this photograph. They thought if people knew the shark was fake they wouldn't come see the movie. They couldn't have been more wrong.

David and Richard would talk to the studio executives on a daily basis and took the heat for Steven. They never let Steven know what the executives said. David has produced along with Richard a great deal of successful movies such as "Cocoon", "The Verdict", and "Neighbors". David sadly passed away in 2002.

In the movie Jaws 2, a Killer Whale is found washed up on the beach with a bite taken out of it, suggesting that a rogue shark may be responsible. Although the film's depiction of Killer Whales is not entirely accurate, it highlights the ongoing fascination and mystery surrounding these extraordinary creatures.

Orca's harbour I.D. number in Jaws is Ms 15 LF. The Orca is the boat used by the main characters to hunt down the great white shark. The boat was named after the killer whale, which is the natural predator of the great white shark. The I.D. number is a unique identifier assigned to the boat by the harbor authorities. In the movie, the Orca's I.D. number is prominently displayed on the side of the boat. Interestingly, the Orca used in the movie was actually a rental boat that was modified to look like the Orca from the novel. The boat was later returned to its original state after filming was completed.

Ellen asked Martin what she was supposed to tell the children. He told her to tell the boys he had gone fishing. Martin and Ellen embraced and Martin walked to the boat. Ellen was unable to continue to hide the fear she felt of possibly losing her husband. Ellen ran from the docks extremely upset.

It can be inferred that Mike's girlfriend's love for dolphins is ironic, given that the plot of the movie revolves around a giant man-eating Great White Shark. Additionally, it can be noted that dolphins play a significant role in the storyline of the movie, as they are used to help capture the shark towards the end of the film. Overall, it is a curious detail that Mike's girlfriend's favourite animal in the movie happens to be the intelligent, friendly dolphin.
