Answer: Falcon

The elder from the Avian province in Jumanji was the caretaker of the Falcon Jewel until it was stolen in a raid by Jurgen the Brutal and locked away in darkness. Jumanji fell into drought and the crops dried out and died. To save the Jumanji people, Nigel Billingsley (New Zealand actor, Rhys Darby) has written to Dr. Bravestone requesting his assistance in saving Jumanji once again.

Answer: Pelican

Judy's second roll released a stampede of rhinos, elephants, zebras and pelicans. The animals ran through the house then crashed through a side wall where they escaped into the town. The last animal in the stampede was a pelican, which scooped up the game and flew off with it. Alan, Sarah, Judy and Peter gave chase after Alan correctly surmised that it would head for water.

When the stampede ran through the town, a smaller, slower rhino was at the back of the pack. This was actually an error in the animation timing which had the effect of making the rhino appear slower than the rest of the stampede. The editors liked the effect and kept the error in, adding the foot stomping and wheezing later.

Answer: Professor Shelly Oberon

One of Professor Shelly Oberon's special skills is cartography (map reading). Other strengths are archaeology and palaeontology.

Answer: The "Gilligan's Island" Theme

He was singing the "Gilligan's Island Theme". You could hear him when it showed Judy and Peter sitting outside of the bathroom.

In the scene where Allen explains whose turn it is after Judy's roll doesn't work, he tells them that it is "Sarah Whittle's" turn.

~Sarah Whittle is portrayed by Bonnie Hunt, who has done numerous movies as both an actress and writer. Sarah is a scared adult because she witnesses Allen being sucked into Jumanji when they are kids. Despite this, she is a brave person.

Much to his surprise, Milo (as zoologist Mouse) shares some interesting facts about ostriches when they encounter one in the desert. One fact that he shares too late is that ostriches will attack when they feel threatened and this results in grandpa Eddie losing one of his lives. Even though that ostrich runs off after 'killing' Eddie, it soon returns with its herd resulting in a chase across the desert.

Jonathon Hyde, who played Bruce Ismay in "Titanic" (1997), played the hunter, Van Pelt, and also Sam Parrish, father of Alan in "Jumanji" (1995). On Alan's first roll after his release from the jungle, Van Pelt emerged from the game by the riddle: "A hunter from the darkest wild, makes you feel just like a child".

The young Alan Parrish was afraid of his father and after he was transported into the Jumanji jungle, that fear transposed onto Van Pelt. The feeling was cemented for the viewer by the use of the same actor in both roles. On his return, Alan came to the realisation that his fear was unfounded. At the end of the game when everything was restored back to 1969, Sam told Alan they'd have a talk about boarding school "man to man", but Alan corrected him with "father to son".

'Seaplane' McDonough says he'd already tried taking the sea plane and died. He had also tried to use the hot air balloon.

Answer: Car crash in Canada

They died in a car crash in Canada. They were planning on going there for a ski trip. At the end of the movie, when Alan ended up hiring them they said that they were going to take a ski trip in Canada. Alan then quickly yelled "NO" because he knew that was how they will die.

Answer: Chris Van Allsburg

The book "Jumanji" was written in 1982 by Chris Van Allsburg. He also helped write the major motion picture.

Some of Chris Van Allsburg's other famous books include, "The Mysteries of Harris Burdick" and "The Stranger".

Answer: Alan Parrish

Peter rolls a five and, according to Alan's riddle, sets the now much older Alan free.

Answer: Libra

"Just ignore him, he's a Libra," says Sarah (it's in the scene where the pelican takes the game).

Answer: He turned into a monkey.

When Peter realised he only needed a ten to win the game, he tried to drop the dice so they would land on 12. The riddle "A law of 'Jumanji' has been broken, you will step back even more than your token" appeared and Peter was transformed into a replica of his playing piece, which was a monkey.

For 70 days during the filming, Bradley Pierce, who voiced Chip in "Beauty and the Beast" (1991), endured almost four hours in the make-up chair to transform himself into a furry monkey.

Without the help of 'Seaplane' the others may not have made it out of the bazaar without losing a life. It is after this that they all realise the 'missing piece' they were looking for is actually 'Seaplane' himself.

Answer: A vine pulled it into the woods.

Through the movie his car kept getting more and more wrecked. But near the end of the movie, when he was talking to Aunt Nora, his car got pulled into the woods by a vine. That was the last time that we saw his car.

Answer: Jonathan Hyde

Strangely enough, he also plays the role of Alan's dad (Samuel Parrish).

~Van Pelt the Hunter is portrayed by Jonathan Hyde. Van Pelt is a fierce hunter who is out to kill Allen after Allen rolls him out of the game.

Some of Jonathan Hyde's other roles include, J. Bruce Ismay in "Titanic" and also Dr. Allen Chamberlain in "The Mummy".

When Aunt Nora is asking Judy and Peter whether she should take them to school or let them ride the bus, Peter is finishing his toast. You can catch a glimpse of red jam on it if you look closely.

Answer: Shoot poisonous barbs

The yellow pods are the large, carnivorous flowers. The pretty, purple flowers don't really attack until the end of the movie, when one pops through the floorboards and shoots Judy in the neck.

Answer: A trombone

The trombone ends up pulling apart, and with time running out, Sarah grabs Alan's hands to help him stay afloat while Judy takes her turn to stop the quicksand.

Answer: Soul Man

He worked at the Shoe Factory, so it had a double-meaning (SOLE Man).

Answer: Ming Fleetfoot

When Martha, Fridge, Eddie, and Milo meet up with Spencer, he explains that he chose to come back to Jumanji because he wanted to feel invincible again - like he did when playing as Bravestone during "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle".

Because the game was broken, he wasn't able to choose his avatar this time though so has been allocated the avatar named Ming Fleetfoot instead - a cat burglar/pickpocket/safe-cracker with a pollen allergy. Instead of feeling invincible, he says that he's practically playing himself in the game because Ming is small, crafty and has allergies, just like him. The Ming Fleetfoot avatar is portrayed by actress Awkwafina.

On Sarah's roll a monsoon erupted in the house, filling it with water. Despite the stampede that created an elephant-sized hole in a wall earlier, the entire ground floor of the house flooded. The ground floor had turned into a jungle by this time so it is thought that the abundant vines blocked off the cavity. As the water level rose, Alan helped Judy and Peter onto a large chandelier. Sarah attempted to follow, but was threatened by a large crocodile so Alan jumped on its back and wrestled with it.

While most of the animals in Jumanji were created by CGI, for the wrestling scenes with the crocodile, a mechanical replica was built so that Williams could ride it rodeo-style. In a behind the scenes clip where Williams was practicing on the mechanical monster, he can be heard taunting it, saying "your Mum's a wallet, your Daddy's a suitcase".

She needs to learn how to flirt in order to distract the men outside the transportation shed. Ruby Roundhouse is played by Karen Gillan and Shelly Oberon is played by Jack Black.
