We've been rather busy over the last few weeks, putting together a website on Celtic mythology, folklore and legend.
It's been fairly nerve wracking as we have been creating Podcasts (Internet radio). We have started telling the stories of the Irish Mythological cycle, which includes the coming of the Tuatha de Danann (the Sidhe) to Ireland. However recording the first show was scary. I was fine until a microphone was in front of me, then my brain emptied of things to say, it reminded me of that first date situation where you are so nervous you suddenly have no idea what to say and then when you do say something it's completely stupid lol ( yes guys it happens to us too). However I got through it although I wince whenever I listen to the news and views section of the podcast. We managed to rope our sons in to help with voice acting and that was really funny. I think at some point we will have to do an out takes show. The narrator is the man in my life and he is great at story telling, he manages to keep the stories entertaining as well as relaxing.
However when I'm not playing with the website, I'm either reading or playing with my little granddaughter |
