Mothra is the guardian of Earth, as stated in "Mothra" and "Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack". The fairies that Mothra is friends with protect her and warn her when Godzilla is attacking Japan. The fairies are mysterious and appear randomly before Mothra arrives in Japan. They never reveal their names in any movie. Mothra is an ancient guardian monster from Japanese legends that arises when Japan is in danger. Mothra helps fight alongside King Ghidorah during the final battle in "GMK" and sacrifices her life to protect King Ghidorah. The spirit of Mothra was absorbed by Ghidorah and gave it the strength to defeat Godzilla. Difficulty: Very Easy.

Contrary to popular belief, Godzilla's skin is indeed a dark, charcoal grey. It has only been green in two movies: "Godzilla 2000" and "Godzilla vs. Megaguirus". This misconception originally came from the fact that they accidentally used green ink on the posters for the first "Godzilla" movie in America, and since it was in black-and-white, nobody could tell his true color, and it's stuck ever since. Raymond Burr is once again added to this movie in the American version, once again he is not in the Japanese version. Which means all of the movies that happened between "Godzilla, King of The Monsters" and "Godzilla 1985" never really happened. The creators at Toho decided to start fresh with a brand new story and discard the old one. Thus, the Heisei series was born. Difficulty: Easy.

"Gojira" opened in theaters of Japan in 1954. It wasn't until 1956 that the American "Godzilla, King of the Monsters" was released. America added Burr into the American version to boost popularity in the U.S.A. They also cut 20 min. out of the original "Gojira" just so the story of reporter Steve Martin could be added. Difficulty: Very Easy.

This is actually the reason I first became interested in Godzilla. He is a dinosaur, and I love dinosaurs. Difficulty: Very Easy.

In 1954, a Japanese film company called Toho made an atomic dinosaur-monster movie titled 'Gojira'. When the movie was translated into English, it was 'Godzilla'. Difficulty: Very Easy.

Kiryu is built with the original Godzilla's bones, and is powered by Godzilla's DNA. This allows Kiryu to process data ten times quicker that most computers, similar to the bio-neural gel packs the star ship Voyager uses to process information. This is found in "Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla" when the smartest Japanese minds formed together in a conference room talking about creating a robot using the bones of Godzilla with the skeleton in the background.

Kiryu was created by the Japanese army to protect Japan from Godzilla. A side effect of using the bones of Godzilla is that when Godzilla roared, the DNA in Kiryu would cause it to be able to control itself. In essence, Kiryu would become a sentient being that could not be controlled by humans, and it destroyed Japan until its power ran out. Difficulty: Hard.

The flying, golden, triple-headed, lightning-spitting space dragon in question has proven himself to be one of the most popular kaiju of all time, ever since his debut film, "Ghidorah, The Three-Headed Monster". Even back then, he did battle with Godzilla. Besides Godzilla, Ghidorah's main adversary is the giant insect Mothra. Difficulty: Hard.

The Super X was used to fight Godzilla when he attacked Tokyo. Super X does win at the beginning, but Godzilla eventually beats the Super X because Super X was not designed to fight Godzilla, it was made to protect the city in case of war. Difficulty: Easy.

Gojira was a combination of the Japanese words gorira and kujira (gorilla and whale). Difficulty: Hard.

 

"Gojira" was the first name that popped in Eiji's head., Eiji's nickname at school was "Gojira"., No one knows the origin of the name.

Orga was a space ship until it absorbed Godzilla's DNA and became a huge monster with tremendous regenerating powers. Orga scanned Godzilla and realized he had a distinct cell in his body that would allow him to transform into a stronger monster and regenerate much quicker. In "Godzilla 2000", this cell was known as "Regenerator G 1". Orga attempts to absorb Godzilla by swallowing him whole, and in the process, started to look more like Godzilla. Difficulty: Hard.

Toho was founded by Hankyu Railway in 1932, though under a different name back then. Kadokawa-Daiei is the name of the company that produces the "Gamera" films, and Tristar is usually the one that releases the "Godzilla" films in America. Difficulty: Hard.

Cretaceous Ghidora appeared in "Mothra the Rebirth 3". Mothra had to go back in time to fight Cretaceous Ghidora, because he was too weak to take on Grand Ghidora in the present. After evolving and destroying Cretaceous Ghidora, Mothra came back to the present time, strong enough to defeat Grand Ghidora. Difficulty: Hard.

It was discovered that Godzilla's brain was like a birds brain. The scientist used bird like sounds to lure Godzilla away from the city and towards a volcano. It worked and when Godzilla is standing on the edge of the volcano, placed explosives go off and he falls in. Difficulty: Easy.

Anguirus is Godzilla's friend. This is stated in "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla". Anguirus fights evil along side Godzilla in the earlier movies. This is stated when a character drives by and says, "Godzilla is fighting Anguirus, I thought they were friends?" What this character does not know is that the Godzilla fighting Anguirus is actually Mechagodzilla disguised as Godzilla to take over Earth. Difficulty: Hard.

The Showa series was named after the Japanese Showa era, which refers to the reign of the emperor Hirohito. Likewise, the Heisei series is named after the Japanese Heisei era, meaning the rule of the current emperor, Hirohito's son Akihito. The Millennium series, of course, is not named in such a manner, but for the fact that this series began near the beginning of the new millennium in 2001. Difficulty: Hard.
