1. Henry

Answer: Fonda Family

Henry Fonda was born in 1905, in Nebraska and worked in his father's print shop after school. After dropping out of college he took a role in some plays at the Omaha Community Playhouse. He fell in love with acting and moved to New York in 1928 to pursue his dream. He spent the early 1930s in various Broadway plays before catching the eye of Hollywood.

He signed with 20th Century Fox and became a star with films like "The Grapes Of Wrath". After WWII, in which he served, he returned to both the silver screen and the stage for several decades. He was very diverse and played villains, cowboys, political figures, and blue collar workers. His last performance, and one that garnered him an Academy Award, was the movie "On Golden Pond" in which he starred with his daughter. He died in 1982 at the age of 77 years.

Henry was married five times and had three children. Two, Jane and Peter, were with his second wife Frances and one (Amy) was adopted with his third wife.
2. Peter

Peter Fonda was born in 1940 in New York City and was the son of famed actor Henry Fonda and his wife Frances. He was the brother to actress Jane Fonda. Peter started his own career on Broadway and won several awards. In 1963, he began his movie career and soon became known as a counterculture figure with long hair and a reputation of consuming LSD. In 1969 he starred, produced, and co-wrote the movie "Easy Rider" which grossed over $40 million.

The next several decades saw Peter direct and star in more big screen films, appear in television movies, write an autobiography and even voice characters in video games. He was married three times and had two children, Bridget (also an actor) and Justin. Peter Fonda died in 2019 of lung cancer.
3. Jane

Jane Fonda was born in 1937 in New York and was the daughter of famed actor Henry Fonda and his wife, Frances. At age 15, after her mother committed suicide, Jane went on to teach dance and model. In 1958, she became interested in the arts and began acting.

Jane acted in almost twenty movies in the 1960s and played characters ranging from prostitutes to outlaws to space travelers. In the 1970s she started her own production company and starred in several films that captured the attention of critics such as "The China Syndrome" and "Coming Home". She also was in the limelight due to her political activism and a visit to North Vietnam.

During the next several decades, Jane starred in blockbusters like "9 to 5", "On Golden Pond" (with her father), and "The Dollmaker". She also became a spokesperson for staying fit with aerobic workouts. She continued filmmaking and supporting various causes such as Native Americans and LGBTQ communities. She has been married three times and has three children.
4. Lynn

Lynn Redgrave was born in 1943 in London, England and was the youngest child born into a family of actors. In the 1960s, she too began her career by working in both stage productions and films such as "Tom Jones" and "Georgy Girl" (for which she was nominated for an Academy Award). Her career, however, began to falter as her sister's (Vanessa) career was in the upswing. Lynn moved to the US in 1974.

For over twenty years she played in Broadway productions, television shows, game shows, and several miniseries. In the 1980s, she became a spokesperson for "Weight Watchers" and wrote a bestselling book about her battle with weight gain. In the 1990s she again starred in several movie hits including "Shine" and "Gods and Monsters". Lynn was married and divorced once, and had three children. She died in 2010 after losing her battle to breast cancer.
5. Vanessa

Vanessa Redgrave was born in 1937 in London, England into a family of actors. Her father was actually performing a play of "Hamlet" the night she was born. At first she was interested in dance, but quickly switched to acting and by the early 1960s she was garnering fame as a stage actor in England. In 1966, she began to appear in various movie films such as "Blow-Up" and "A Man For All Seasons".

The 1970s found her becoming involved with the Workers Revolutionary Party, a group who aimed to destroy capitalism. This hurt her reputation with the public and hence, her film career during that time. During the 1980s and 1990s she focused on TV films and a variety of different miniseries while she also went back to her stage roots. In 2003 she won a Tony award for her role in "The Long Day's Journey Into Night".

Vanessa has been married twice and has had three children (including the actor Natasha Richardson). She has written her autobiography, directed a documentary at age 80, and continues to support various causes.
6. Natasha Richardson

Natasha was born in 1963 in London to an acting family, including her mother, Vanessa Redgrave. By age 19, she was performing in theater work in London and even acting alongside her mother. In 1998, she was in the play "Cabaret" on Broadway and earned a Tony Award.

During the 1980s and 1990s she was also starring in film roles such as "Gothic" and "The Handmaid's Tale". She also was in the movie "Nell" with her future husband, Liam Neeson. In 1998, she was in a Disney remake of "The Parent Trap". Like other family members before her, she also starred in several television miniseries.

By 2009, Natasha had married Neeson and had two children with him. She also was an advocate of AIDS research. In March of that year, she fell while taking ski lessons in Canada and later died from those head injuries.
7. Martin

Martin Sheen was born in 1940 in Dayton, Ohio and his name was Ramon Antonio Gerardo Estevez. As a teenager, Martin was interested in acting and moved to New York in his twenties (despite his father's protests) to pursue the stage. It was then he took on his stage name Martin Sheen. In the 1960s and 1970s he did Broadway work as well as guest starring in several television shows.

It was in 1979, when he starred in some big screen hits such as "Apocalypse Now", when his name came more into public recognition. As the decades went by, he starred in miniseries such as "Gettysburg" and the television drama "The West Wing". By the 2000s, Martin had done more movies, voice-overs, and video game characters, while simultaneously keeping up a busy activist lifestyle.

He has only been married once and has four children, all of whom are in the acting profession.
8. Charlie

Charlie Sheen was born in 1965 and was named Carlos Estevez. He was the son of actor Martin Sheen. He began acting while in high school and after he was expelled he changed his name to Charlie Sheen and began filming movies. He began in smaller roles in movies such as "Red Dawn" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". In 1986 he received his first major role when he starred in "Platoon" then followed it up with several hits in the 1990s.

In 2003, he began starring in the television show "Two And A Half Men" and would go on to appear in it for eight seasons. By 2011, Charlie was struggling with addiction and behavioral problems and his contract was terminated. He then proceeded to be in the limelight with outrageous actions and statements. Like his father, he also continued to be involved in charity and activism work.

Charlie Sheen has been married and divorced three times and has five children.
9. Emilio Estevez

Emilio Estevez was born in 1962 in New York and was the oldest of the children of famed actor Martin Sheen. After high school, he followed his father's footsteps into the acting world. Unlike his father and brother, he kept his given birth name and did not change it to "Sheen". In the 1980s, he became widely known due to being one of the "Brat Pack" and appearing in several movies such as "The Outsiders" and "The Breakfast Club".

The 2000s found Emilio acting in movies ranging from comedies to serious drama. He also began directing films and television shows. He also appeared in many of his friend Jon Bon Jovi's music videos.

He was briefly married to Paula Abdul and had two children with another partner.
10. Lionel

Lionel Barrymore was born in 1878 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the son of famed stage actors Maurice and Georgiana Barrymore. He originally never intended to follow his parents into the acting world and, instead, studied art and painting in Paris. After several years, in his twenties, he moved back to the US and began acting.

Lionel took on several stage roles in New York before heading to Hollywood for the big screen. He starred in such 1920s films as "The Mysterious Island" and "A Free Soul" (which won him an Oscar). He continued his rising film career throughout the 1930s and 1940s in movies such as "Key Largo", "It's A Wonderful Life", and "Duel In The Sun". He also performed on the radio and composed music.

11. Ethel

Ethel Barrymore was born in 1879 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the second child born into the acting family of Maurice and Georgiana Barrymore. Like her brother, Lionel, she initially planned on going into the arts and becoming a pianist but soon changed her mind and followed the acting profession. In 1894, she began appearing in plays in New York. She was very popular and performed in both London and Broadway in plays such as "A Doll's House" and "Peter the Great".

The late 1910s and early 1920s saw Ethel continuing her work on the stage and also appearing in some movie roles such as "The Nightingale". During the 1930s she appeared in movie roles that reflected her actual middle age. In her 50s and 60s she continued acting, including getting an Oscar for the film "None But The Lonely Heart" with Cary Grant. She also worked behind the scenes for actors' rights.

Ethel Barrymore died in 1959. She was married and divorced once and had three children.

Drew Barrymore was born in 1975 in California. She was born into a family with generations of acting, including her great-aunt Ethel, her great-uncle Lionel, her grandfather John, and her father John Drew Barrymore. In the 1990s her rebelliousness came out in roles in films like "Boys On The Side" and "Guncrazy". She also posed nude for "Playboy" magazine. The 2000s found Drew in both understated films and blockbusters such as "Charlie's Angels" and "He's Just Not That Into You". She also began directing movies and working on some television specials. By the 2010s she was continuing to appear on the silver screen as well as streaming movies and being a face of CoverGirl cosmetics.

13. Tony

Tony Curtis was born in New York City in 1925 with the name Bernard Schwartz. He grew up in poverty with little education. To escape the house, any chance he could he snuck off to the movies to watch films. After his brother died in an accident, Tony joined the US Navy in 1942 to get "real life experience". It was while he was serving that he began to find his talent on the stage.

Tony used the GI Bill to go to acting school and soon began to work in stage productions. While working one of these, a niece of producer David O. Selznick encouraged him to try out for the movies and he got a contract. He then took the name Tony Curtis and played in a number of films as a "tough guy". In the 1950s he became more of a headliner in films like "The Vikings" and "The Defiant Ones". By the 1960s he had started his own production company and began focusing on more comedic roles. Toward the end of his career, he began painting and died of cardiac arrest in 2010.

He was married six times and divorced five times. He had six children, including three daughters who followed him into the theatrical world.
14. Jamie Lee

Jamie Lee Curtis was born in 1958 in California to the actors Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh. She grew up raised by Janet and Janet's husband, Robert Brandt. She studied law at the University of the Pacific but dropped out to pursue acting. Her first film, the horror movie "Halloween", was a huge success. She continued to play in many scary movies and called herself "the scream queen".

By 1983, she had evolved in different characters on the big screen and starred in movies like "Trading Places" and "Freaky Friday". In the 2000s, after taking a brief break to be a parent, she reprised her role in the "Halloween" franchise and starred in movies like "Knives Out". She also took time during these decades to play in several television shows and specials and was the successful author of over twelve children's books.

Jamie Lee Curtis married to Christopher Guest (another actor) in 1984 and they have two adopted daughters together.
15. Janet Leigh

Janet Leigh was born in 1927 in California with the name Jeanette Morrison. She was very good academically and graduated high school early. She dropped out of college, however, to pursue an acting career when a Hollywood talent agent saw her photograph. She changed her name to Janet Leigh and began starring in radio and movie films such as "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo".

In the 1940s and 1950s, Janet was busy going between different studios shooting films like "Little Women", "Houdini", and "My Sister Eileen". She also married fellow actor Tony Curtis during this time period. In the 1960s she starred in several suspense movies, including the famous "Psycho" scene in the Hitchcock film. Following a divorce and remarriage, Janet took a brief break from acting. Later in her life, she appeared on television shows, theater productions, a movie with her daughter (Jamie Lee), and in several books she authored about her life. She died in 2004 at the age of 77 after a long illness.

Janet Leigh was married four times, divorced twice, and annulled once. She has two daughters who are also in the acting field.
