The Springboks is one of the nicknames for the South African national rugby union team. Others include the Boks and Amabokoboko, all connected to the springbok antelope. 2. Hannibal

This Hannibal was the general and statesman of Carthage who commanded their forces against the Roman Republic during the Second Punic War. He was famous for crossing the Alps with his war elephants in order to attack the Roman Republic directly. This was in 218 BC. The war ended in 204 BC with Carthage's defeat.
